Now we don’t know about you, but one of the first things to feel the chill is our poor feet - so investing in a good pair of socks this winter seems to be the secret to success for many Martin Lewis fans.

When it comes to saving money, we know we can always rely on Martin and his team to provide us with the best tips and tricks for staying warm as the temperature plummets - and although it’s not the most exciting purchase, a pair of thermal socks could be the answer to your cold feet prayers.

In a recent article published on the Money Saving Expert website, Martin’s team of experts have put together a handy guide on how to ‘heat the human not the home’ in order to help households save thousands on their heating bills as they continue to rise.

Designed to keep your toes extra toasty, the socks are made from a super-soft material with added stretch for comfort and a reinforced heel and toe, so you don’t have to worry about them falling down. They're available in size ranges of three-to-five and six-to-eight, and you'll get a pack of three to see you through the winter.

The handy winter feet warmers have received over 500 five-star reviews, with shoppers calling them 'warm and cosy' and 'ideal for walking.'

One delighted shopper said: "Lovely, soft and cosy. Not too thick and bulky. Really pleased with these."

A second added: "I’ve had these before and they are brilliant and very comfortable, I do a lot of walking and they serve their purpose."

While a third wrote: "Great little socks, not too thick like some thermals but you can definitely tell the difference to normal socks. Feet kept warm and toastie and so comfy to wear."

Many shoppers loved how the socks 'weren't too thick,' so can easily be worn with chunky winter boots without feeling too tight. Plenty also mentioned how they 'left no marks around the ankles' and 'didn't slip or move about.'

Although there are plenty of rave reviews, some shoppers were slightly disappointed, with one saying: "Not as warm as I’d hoped they’d be but an improvement on my usual socks. Took an eternity to dry after washing."

The thermal socks come in black and grey, and are priced at just £10 for a pack of three - a pretty good bargain if you ask us!
