Granddaughter of Rolling Stone star Ronnie Wood hailed as the 'next Kate Moss'
The granddaughter of Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood is getting her own big break, with a top modelling agency desperate to sign her on to their books.
Maggie, 14, has caught the eye of Storm’s Sarah Doukas – the agency boss who spotted Kate Moss when she was also 14. Sources say Sarah has made a request to meet Maggie “in the coming months”. The youngster’s mum, Leah, is the daughter of the Rolling Stone and his second wife Jo Wood, also a former model.
A source says: “Sarah saw a photo of Maggie and has been keen to meet her ever since. She thinks she has incredible potential, and could be a real up-and-coming star in the modelling world. And, of course, everyone trusts Sarah’s eye.
“She’s hoping to meet Maggie in the coming months, and Maggie is also really keen.” Gran Jo – who also signed to Storm when she started modelling as a teen – says: “I think Maggie is the most beautiful girl in the world. She’s tall and stunning.
“Sarah saw a picture of her and now she’s dying to see her in person, and Maggie really wants to get into modelling too. I think it would be great for her. She’d get to travel and it will build her confidence in herself. She’s a really clever girl too whereas at her age, I was more street-smart than clever.”
Ellie Bamber to play Kate Moss in film about her relationship with Lucian FreudMaggie may well have a bright future ahead as a model, but it sounds like she might have to get used to wearing some slightly dressier outfits. Jo tells us: “I have some wonderful clothes, and they’re all being saved for me to give to my grandchildren. But when I tried to get Maggie into a lovely Biba top, she said ‘No’ – she told me she preferred to stay in her tracksuit bottoms and sneakers.”
