Charlotte Dawson has hit back at cruel mum-shamers and has urged them to 'get a life' instead of being concerned with hers.

The former Celebs Go Dating star and social media superstar, 31, is a proud mum-of-two to two beautiful little boys, Noah, 2, and Jude, who she welcomed earlier this year. Charlotte shares her boys with fiancé Matthew Sarsfield and since becoming a mum-of- two she has faced much criticism when it comes to her parenting techniques.

Most recently, the reality TV star was hit with shaming comments after fans spot a 'dangerous moment' in a family video. Charlotte was left distraught after a disgraceful campaign saw hoax calls made to social services and she's been trolled for her actions as a mum.

After sharing a sweet video to Instagram of her two children in bed with their dad, Charlotte was once again targeted with cruel comments slamming her. In the video, the two boys can be seen with Charlotte and their Dad as Charlotte captioned the clip: "Back together as a fambo of 4 after Matthew has been in hospital."

In the comments, fans were quick to point out son Noah's use of his dummy as well as his behaviour to his younger sibling. One viewer commented: "Take the dummy out of his mouth when he talks." Another added: "Get that thing out of that poor child’s face!" A third took issue with Noah's boisterous and playful behaviour, as they commented: "Ffs that poor baby that little-brother of his will be a nightmare using make up brushes like that on him and pulling his chair down like that….what stupid parents you both are."

Speaking to The Mirror about how she deals with the constant criticism, Charlotte admitted that she hasn't found a way to fully combat the negativity online and confessed that it does get her down sometimes. Other times however, Charlotte is able to 'laugh it off' as she pictures the keyboard warriors behind the screens, who she says 'should focus on their own lives'.

"It's bloody painful to listen to most of the time. Everything I do they seem to pick at. Because Noah has still got a dummy in his mouth I'm suddenly a bad mum, but he's two-years-old. I think I had a dummy in until I was six and I turned out alright," the proud mum quipped.

"I honestly hate how the world is now, it's so annoying. I just feel like it's so cr**. I don't understand why people have the urge to comment such horrible things on somebody else's life. It's got nothing to do with them and how me and Matthew bring our children up.

"Obviously I've had negative criticism my whole life and I have always told my mum that we need to just block it out when it came to things being said about my late dad Les. At the end of the day, these people are just not worth worrying about and obviously they have nothing better to do. When I was pregnant it really really get to me, but now that I'm a mum I suppose it does get to me a bit more because sometimes the things that people can say can get into your head and you start second-guessing yourself.

"But the majority of the the time these people behind the comments are just weirdos. Sometimes I have a laugh and I do react to some of the ridiculous things they say because some of it is just outrageously funny."

It comes as the TV star and mum-of-two has today launched charitable Christmas toy drive. The popular personality is urging Brits to head into their local Hungry Horse pub and donate unwanted toys to disadvantaged children this year.

To mark the initiative, Charlotte unveiled a 450kg sack of presents in Manchester city centre to represent the estimated two million children who could go without a present this Christmas.

"As a mum, I know how much Christmas means to kids and how excited they get when it’s time to open their presents on the big day. No child should have to go without that moment of joy," she said of the campaign.

“That’s why I wholeheartedly support Hungry Horse's 'Toy Boxing Day' scheme and its mission to ensure every child receives a gift this festive season. If you want to make a difference this year, box up some pre-loved toys and get them to your local pub today."
