Ronan Keating emotional as he details struggle after tragic loss of his brother
Ronan Keating admitted he is still struggling following the tragic death of his brother earlier this year.
The singer tragically lost his brother Ciaran Keating earlier this year. He passed away in a car crash in Co. Mayo on July 16, with Ronan breaking his silence at the time to admit it's been the hardest part of his life.
During an appearance on Loose Men today, alongside fellow panellists Harry Redknapp, Ore Oduba and Vernon Kay, Ronan opened up about his family's loss, explaining how difficult it has been for them all.
Hosting today's edition of Loose Men, Vernon Kay shared: "Ronan I know its still close to your heart, your brother recently passed away. Stupid question but obviously that's a difficult thing for you and your family, how are you?"

It's been a tough few months dealing with it. It's because it was so quick, immediate, so fast, unexpected - but we're still figuring it all out.

"But we're talking to each other, we have each other to lean on and that's really important. It's all about communication and talking about it and having somebody who is going through something, you feel they understand what you're going through."
He added: "People will come up to you on the street and say oh I'm so sorry to hear about your brother, I lost my dad, my mum or my brother, and its their way of sharing to be on a level with you.
"You're in so much pain, you're in your head and people don't understand what they're going through. So to have my siblings there, especially in the couple of weeks after. We have a WhatsApp group, the four of us now, and we talk every day and check in."
Back in the summer, Ronan posted on Instagram to thank his fans for their support through such a half time. He shared: "Hey Everyone. Just wanted to say thank you for the love and respect you have shown my family over the last 5 weeks. It has been the hardest time for us all, and everyone is trying to manage a life now without our brother (very hard to even type that).
"Thank you for all your messages of support and also respecting our privacy during this time. There is no more fitting a place to heal, than in South Africa surrounded by Mother Nature and great people and our little bundles of joy Cooper and Coco, have kept us going constantly. Thank you god. Back to work for me in another part of the world I love now… it all seems rather difficult to make sense of but trying my best. Take care of each other and from Storm, myself and all my family, thank you."
