Diddy 'blew up' Kid Cudi's car for being a love rival, claims Cassie in lawsuit
Diddy has been accused of "blowing up' another man's car in R&B singer Cassie's bombshell lawsuit against him.
According to court documents obtained by The Mirror, Casandra Ventura - known as Cassie in the music industry - accuses the famed rapper of rape, assault, abuse and sex trafficking. She also claims he threatened to blow up rapper Kid Cudi's vehicle shortly before a car exploded on his driveaway in 2012.
Cassie alleges that Diddy - real name Sean Combs - "blew up a man's car after he learned that he was romantically interested in Ventura," and that "Mr. Combs frequently reminded Ms. Ventura of his ability to cause serious harm, whether by requiring her to carry his gun in her purse or by blowing up the car of a musician that was romantically interested in Ms. Ventura".
The documents go into further detail about the incident and circumstances surrounding it as they describe how Ms Ventura was dating Kid Cudi - real name Scott Mescudi - when her relationship with Mr Combs had hit a "rough patch" in 2011. She claims that she had returned from a trip when Combs attacked her after discovering messages between her and Mescudi.

Diddy's lawyer has rejected the accusations (Getty Images for MTV)She claims that she then went to Mescudi's house in a bid to escape Combs and a violent outburst, with one of his employees telling her that Mescudi needed "to just talk to" Combs. She claimed she then returned to Combs who attacked her again before she returned to her family home in Conneticut.

Ms Ventura then alleges that the following year Combs told her "that he was going to blow up Kid Cudi's car, and that he wanted to ensure that Kid Cudi was home with his friends when it happened." The documents then claim that around the same time Mescudi's car exploded on his driveway.

For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail.
"Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’s reputation and seeking a payday.”
