Although some fans might be taken off guard, Snoop has previously hinted at the decision to quit for some time. The rapper previously told MailOnline: "Being a grandfather has changed me in multiple ways," he told MailOnline. He continued: "The only way I can do that is to take precautionary steps as far as how I move, who I hang out with, where I go out, my intake, what am I intaking?" and added: "Am I doing extra-curricular or am I just doing what I’m supposed to be doing?"

The legendary rapper is a loving grandfather to his five grandchildren that he gained from his 24-year-old daughter Cori Broadus.
