Black Friday usually means one thing: bargains. But this month, it also means blockbusters. That’s because there’s loads of great TV shows available to stream with Sky, Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV+, with some even bigger ones just around the corner.

Apple TV+ is about to launch a new spin-off series to the Godzilla franchise in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, while Gary Oldman is returning for the third instalment of Slow Horses later this month. Over on Netflix, the first half of The Crown’s final season has just dropped, while the brand-new Squid Game game show is only days away.

This Black Friday deal means bargain hunters can save £126 over the 18-month term and have access to premium Sky channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and Sky Documentaries. What’s more, this bundle includes all the most-talked-about new shows on Netflix and Apple TV+ including the brand-new season of The Crown, Godzilla spin-off Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks’ upcoming WWII epic, Masters of the Air.

Those looking to upgrade their broadband can also add Sky’s Superfast broadband with 61Mb/s for an extra £17 a month.

Virgin Media

Virgin has also dropped a host of hot deals, including slashing the price of its Mega Volt bundle by £15 to £70 a month. This includes fast broadband with a whopping 516MB/s average download speed and an O2 mobile SIM with unlimited calls, texts and 5G data.

What’s more, members can watch more than 230 premium TV channels on Virgin’s TV 360 box, which includes Sky Cinema HD, Sky Sports HD, plus Netflix’s Standard plan at no extra cost. While this is by no means the cheapest deal on offer, customers are getting loads for their money and saving £270 over the 18-month term compared to its usual price. There’s also no setup fee to pay.

For those looking to keep costs down, Virgin is offering three months free with its Bigger Combo bundle + Sports package. This comes with 264MB/s broadband and more than 195 TV channels including Sky Sports for £65 a month – a £195 saving.

Film fans can catch a similar deal with Virgin’s Bigger Combo bundle + Movies, that swaps out Sky’s sports channels for Sky Cinema for £68 a month after the first three months – a £204 saving. For those simply looking for broadband and TV, the Bigger Combo bundle – with 264MB/s broadband and more than 190 TV channels – is also free for three months, then £39.50 thereafter.
