Previously unreleased videos show Alec Baldwin firing prop gun with blanks, with the actor saying "I don't want to shoot towards you".
The 65-year-old Hollywood actor fired a prop gun while filming the movie Rust in October 2021, which resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Baldwin insists the incident was an accident and said he was unaware the prop had live bullets loaded.
And now, in a series of videos that were recorded just days before Baldwin’s prop gun fired a live round of ammunition on set, the actor can be seen preparing for scenes, firing the guns, and acting in character. Two of the films, exclusively obtained by NBC, see Baldwin rearranging the crew after speaking out about their safety.

Baldwin, who had been facing two involuntary manslaughter charges for the incident before they were dropped in April, is now back in the headlines as a grand jury will listen to the prosecutor and witnesses and vote in secret on whether they believe there is enough evidence to charge Baldwin.

Prosecutors in New Mexico were scheduled to convene today to consider recharging Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter, but the judge rescheduled it during a teleconference hearing Wednesday, it has been reported. Meanwhile, the aforementioned videos have come to light after the special prosecutors requested them - and more.
New footage, obtained by NBC, shows behind-the-scenes snippets from weeks prior to the incident (NBC News)According to NBC News, it is not currently clear whether or not the footage had anything to do with charging decisions, with the outlet claiming Kari Morrissey, who is a led special prosecutor on the case, declining to comment.
It has also been reported that the five videos could be presented to the grand jury. One of the five videos sees Baldwin lying on the ground holding a prop gun. He can be heard asking someone within the crew to move to the "other side of the camera" because "I don’t want to shoot towards you".

Running out of dummy rounds, he says: "One more, one more, one more," and then adds: "Right away, right away, let's reload". Baldwin later says: "We should have had two guns and both of them reloading."
Another clip sees Baldwin halt filming to check on the safety of the crew. Expressing his concern about the steepness of a path, Baldwin says they should user a safer route. He can then be heard asking: "Are you OK?".
