Strictly's Dianne in 'trouble' with Bobby Brazier after boyfriend's prank
Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell found herself in hot water with dance partner Bobby Brazier thanks to her boyfriend Joe Sugg.
EastEnders star Bobby, who is the 20-year-old son of TV presenter Jeff Brazier and late Big Brother star Jade Goody, is a favourite to win this year’s series following his stand-out performances and on-screen chemistry with pro dancer Dianne.
He has even confessed his ‘love’ for his dance partner, jokingly calling her his ‘Juliet’ and revealing despite other women slipping into his DMs since his appearance on the show, he only has eyes for her.
But before the pair started dancing together, Dianne’s YouTube star boyfriend Joe – who she met when she was partnered with him on the show in 2018 – revealed he accidentally got his missus in hot water.

Sharing what he said, Joe told Metro he played a bit of a prank on Dianne’s young dance partner: “I said, ‘Look, Dianne’s going to try and push you, she’s gonna try and stop you from having your lunch breaks – which isn’t strictly true.”
Revealing Dianne put him through his paces when he starred on the show five years ago, Joe said he is a very slower eater and likes to sit and enjoy his food – but Dianne was having none of it in rehearsals.
Joe continued: “When we were dancing together, she was like, ‘Surely you’re finished by now, we need to get rehearsing because the competition is getting tough now and you’re still not that great.’

He explained: “You’re going to need the energy if you want to be in for the long haul. You’ve got to fuel your body and put the hours in. Just make sure you eat enough food. That was my advice, food is just as important as dance.”
And while video star Joe has his eyes on a behind the scenes production career these days, he says he would always consider a return to Strictly – especially if it meant a spin around the dance floor with Head Judge Shirley Ballas.
Choosing his words carefully, Joe said that obviously be would “always pick Dianne”, but if he could pick a judge to dance with instead “I’d love to dance with Shirley”. Although there have been comments on how close Bobby and Dianne are getting on this year’s show, she has laughed off the ‘awkward’ rumours that began after fans believed they kissed at the end of their Argentine tango.
Bobby has since said he sees the 34-year-old dancer as a "sister" figure, claiming: "I know everybody who has a relationship there – they’re in love. I don’t have any intention to be a home wrecker at all! I’m looking for a big sister and a lovely relationship."
