With almost four million views already, the new Robbie Williams Netflix documentary shows the pop legend still very much has a place in our hearts.

Rising to fame in Take That, the singer's subsequent solo career was a phenomenal success, releasing enormous singles such as Angels, Millennium and Rock DJ, as well as playing to 375,000 people over three days at Knebworth Park - the biggest music event in British history. Covering a myriad of styles from classic pop to electronica, dance and rock, there's usually a tune for every taste in his sizeable back catalogue. As such, we asked Mirror readers what their very favourite Robbie Williams song was, and thousands of you were happy to oblige.

Your resounding winner, with 1,249 of the votes, was the classic 1997 piano ballad Angels. With lyrics suggesting a universal sense of vulnerability and the need for reassurance, the song quickly became his signature track and is widely regarded as one of his best. In second place with 571 votes was the touching She's The One. Robbie's 1999 cover of the World Party track tugged firmly at the heartstrings, and the simple arrangement really helped it stand out from the crowd at the time. In third place was 2002's Feel, with 388 of the votes. Again, a slow, more introspective song, the lyrics touched on themes of self-discovery and the search for authenticity.

The chasing pack, in order, was then made up of pop juggernaut Rock DJ, the moody Come Undone and the downbeat No Regrets, perhaps surprisingly shunting the guaranteed dance floor filler Let Me Entertain You into seventh place.

Meanwhile, Robbie's self-titled Netflix documentary was released on November 8 and has already proved a massive hit. The four-parter goes into great detail about Williams' high-profile struggles with addiction through to his recovery, as well as his breakup with Take That - and triumphant reunion - using new interviews and archive footage. The boyband formed in 1990 in Manchester. Williams left in 1995, leaving the rest of the group to finish their world tour. They then split up in 1996 before eventually reforming in 2005.

But during his career, Williams has struggled with fame and addiction. He has previously admitted he went into rehab in 2007 after taking prescription and class A drugs.
