Ruth Langsford admitted she felt sick after she thought she had let slip a big TV secret to Anton Du Beke.

The presenter, 63, discussed with her fellow panellists on Tuesday's Loose Women "does keeping a secret make you happy?", to which Ruth recalled an almost awkward moment with former Strictly Come Dancing pro partner Anton, 57.

Ruth said: "Gosh, I remember I did one, remember when Anton was on Kate Garraway's Life Stories? They asked me would I do a little bit and say lovely things about him, which of course I did.

"He phoned me a couple of days later, he was with Hannah [his wife] in the car, we were chatting about something and I went: 'Oh, by the way... I've said lovely things about you for Life Stories.' Then there was this pause, like a silence, and in that moment I thought I was going to be sick.

"I was like: 'Oh my God, he doesn't know, he doesn't know they're doing a Life Stories on him and I've now just let the cat [out of the bag]!' Remember This Is Your Life? It was all secret!", Ruth continued: "I went: 'Hello?' and he went: 'Oh yeah, sorry, no that's great, Hannah was just saying something!'" Ruth then acted out being relieved, adding: "The pressure [to keep a secret], you know?"

Elsewhere on Tuesday's show, Janet Street-Porter revealed she's willing to go back on ITV's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! The fiery presenter, 76, made the declaration on Tuesday's Loose Women, admitting she "can't bear" the idea of 2023 campmate Nigel Farage not being given a "really tough time" in the jungle.

Janet, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity back in 2004, said: "I'm willing to go back in, I'm willing to go back in! I can't bear the idea of Nigel Farage not being given a really tough time by someone in there." She added: "I'm not sure that any of the people that are in there are really up for doing that."

Co-star, Ruth, pointed out: "Also, he's very popular with a lot of people!" to which Janet added: "He needs to be put on the spot as well." Talking about an I'm A Celeb return, Janet declared: "I'd love to do it!" It comes as Mr Farage, 59, admitted he's gearing himself up for the downsides of taking part in I'm A Celebrity after ITV viewers blasted the show over the former UKIP leader's addition to the line-up.

I'm A Celebrity starts on ITV on Sunday November 19 at 9pm. *Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on , , , , and .
