Janet Street-Porter has revealed she's willing to go back on ITV's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!

The fiery presenter, 76, made the declaration on Tuesday's Loose Women, admitting she "can't bear" the idea of 2023 campmate Nigel Farage not being given a "really tough time" in the jungle. Janet, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity back in 2004, said: "I'm willing to go back in, I'm willing to go back in! I can't bear the idea of Nigel Farage not being given a really tough time by someone in there." She added: "I'm not sure that any of the people that are in there are really up for doing that."

Co-star, Ruth Langsford, pointed out: "Also, he's very popular with a lot of people!" to which Janet added: "He needs to be put on the spot as well." Talking about an I'm A Celeb return, Janet declared: "I'd love to do it!"

It comes as Mr Farage, 59, admitted he's gearing himself up for the downsides of taking part in I'm A Celebrity after ITV viewers blasted the show over the former UKIP leader's addition to the line-up.

The Brexit Party founder revealed he's been asked to do the show "every year since 2016" but had never felt it was the right time to sign up until now. Mr Farage, who is set to become the highest paid star in the show's history with a reported £1.5million pay check, admitted his fee wasn't the only reason he decided to sign up. He said: "The referendum was a long time ago.

"There are a lot of young people out there who don’t know who I am and don’t know what I stand for. This is my big chance to reach a really big audience of young people which I think will be good for me and also very good for GB News too."

Speaking about the pros and cons of taking part, Mr Farage told GB News: "The upsides are obvious. They’re obvious. You reach a whole new big audience, you test yourself in a way that you haven’t done for years, you make good money doing it.

"The upsides are obvious. The downsides – well look. It could be a complete, total car crash. A disaster. I might finish up having a fight with somebody – who knows! I might get voted out on the first round, I don’t know.

"But I know that things could go very badly wrong and you’re on camera 24 hours a day, seven days a week for up to 22 days that the contestants are in the jungle. So of course a lot could go wrong."

I'm A Celebrity starts on ITV on Sunday November 19 at 9pm. *Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on , , , , and .
