Denise van Outen's wild love life from Matt Perry flirtation to Jay Kay reunion
Denise van Outen might be best known for her presenting days at Big Breakfast but she swiftly found a name for herself on the stage. The 49-year-old has starred in a string of West End and Broadway shows, including playing lead Roxie Hart in the popular musical Chicago.
Despite carving a successful career singing and dancing in front of live audiences, she has still kept up hosting duties for television, and returns to screens tonight on Channel 4 for her documentary, Air Fryers: Are They Worth It?
Denise, who also narrates the ITVBe reality show The Only Way Is Essex, has been a judge for talent shows too, including Any Dream Will Do - where she met her ex-husband Lee Mead, who won the competition in 2007. They separated in 2013 but share a daughter together, Betsy, who was born in 2010.
But the presenter has also had a number of high-profile romances, from a flirtation with the late Matthew Perry and a turbulent relationship with Jamiroquai's Jay Kay.

Not only did she discuss her breakup with commodities trader Eddie Boxshall - who she was with from 2014 until January 2022 after finding out he had an affair behind her back - she also talked about the time Friends funnyman Matthew took a liking to her.

She wrote that the actor, who devastating died last month, got her number from her agent and sent her a voicemail saying: "I think you're gorgeous, and I'd love to take you out on a date." Although she said no, playing the voicemail from the Hollywood star kept the Jamiroquai frontman 'on his toes'.
Denise started dating the singer Jay Kay in 1998. The two got engaged but they split up in 2001. It was recently reported that Denise and Jay started talking again after she broke up with fiancé Eddie. The two had started dating in 2014 and went separate ways last year. A source then said that Denise and Jay had been reconnecting.
Singer Jay used Denise and their fiery relationship as inspiration for his band's hit single 'Little L' in the early noughties. A source told The Sun : "Denise and Jay have been speaking again and it has been good for both of them to have that connection."

It came after Denise revealed in her autobiography that her cheating ex Eddie took her phone and blocked a woman he had been sexting, so she couldn't tell her about his secret messages.
She was left heartbroken as she dumped him after discovering he had been sending X-rated messages to other women behind her back. "I quickly found the woman's profile by her screen name, only to discover I'd previously blocked her on my Instagram account - which struck me as odd," Denise penned.
Mum-of-one Denise continued: "This was a woman I didn't know, who'd clearly had an online connection with my boyfriend. Why would I have blocked her from my Instagram account. Straight away, I unblocked her and sent her a message saying how she knew Eddie. She suggested that Eddie had probably gone into my phone and blocked her so she couldn't message me."
Following their split, Denise moved on with property developer Jimmy Barba, 55, however as of today, The Sun reports that the pair have parted ways after a year together. “We have decided to part ways but we remain great friends and our families and children are still in touch," she said.
It came after she said "everything was worth it" to be with Jimmy following her Eddie betrayal. She added: "Obviously those things weren’t nice to go through... but honestly, I feel like I’m in a nice, happy, good place. I wouldn’t change anything."
