NSYNC are set to reunite after Britney Spears' bombshell memoir Woman In Me slammed frontman Justin Timberlake.

The group are set to do some promotion for the new Trolls movie - including with group interviews in front of the camera. According to reports, Justin will join bandmates JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass on the promo trail and they will attend a premiere for the film in Los Angeles.

Reports suggest the boys will be together on Wednesday potentially at Universal studios in Hollywood as the movie makers try to promote the film as much as possible to get audiences talking about Trolls Band Together. The move comes after it was reported that there will be no reunion tour due to a clash with Justin's schedule.

The reunion has been reported by TMZ, with sources saying Universal studios "obviously know how popular they are as a unit". Justin faced heavy criticism in recent weeks after Britney unveiled a string of claims about him in her memoir. The book saw her address everything from aborting his baby to her cheat claims and how she felt NSYNC "tried too hard to fit in."

Meanwhile, Justin plans on releasing new solo material that he will be touring with in 2024. A source told Page Six: "Justin is coming out with a new album, so he’s planning a big US tour for 2024." The move sees NSYNC missing out on a potential $100million (£81,000) in revenue according to Billboard had they decided to go on the road as a group.

Justin confirmed that the band's new song Better Place which was released on September 29 with his Instagram post. He wrote: "When the stars align… got my brothers back together in the studio to work on something fun and the energy was special. Better Place' is coming 9/29. LOVE Y’ALL."

The third instalment in the Trolls movie franchise which features the song on it's soundtrack, will get its release this Friday, November 17. NSYNC have not released an album since their 2001 hit Celebrity.

The group had a string of hit singles including Tearin’ Up My Heart and It’s Gonna Be Me between 1995 - 2004. While they haven't made music in over two decades they have reunited previously. One time saw them perform at the 2013 VMAs and they also regrouped to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018.

Justin, 42, meanwhile has carved out not only a successful solo career but a career in Hollywood since the band parted ways in 2004. He has released five solo studio albums and had a string of hit singles including Cry Me A River, Senorita, SexyBack and Mirrors. He has also appeared in box office hit movies including Friends With Benefits, Bad Teacher, and The Social Network. He also headlined the Super Bowl LII halftime show.
