Busted singer and guitarist James Bourne has split from his girlfriend of four years, according to reports.

The 40-year-old singer and songwriter had been in a relationship with Emily Canham, who is an influencer boasting 692,000 followers on Instagram. However, after four years together, it's been claimed the pair have called it quits.

James reunited with his former Busted bandmates Matt Willis and Charlie Simpson for their 20th Anniversary tour in September. It has been reported that life, at the moment, is 'non-stop' for the musician.

A source has claimed: "James and Emily have called it quits and are each happily moving on with their lives.

"James has been non-stop with the tour and managing his time between the UK and his place in LA," they told The Sun. It has also been claimed Emily has signed up for celebrity dating app Raya, in which she revealed she was looking for love in London – according to reports.

Former flames Emily and James do not follow one another on Instagram. They pair, who had an age difference of 14 years, began dating in 2018. James and Emily kept a relatively low profile during their relationship, despite their separate successes.

James is best known for being in hit band Busted while Emily is incredibly successful on YouTube – in 2019 she reportedly turned down a £7,000 a minute job. Speaking about her career, she said: "I love being in front of the camera, I love presenting. I’m going to be on YouTube for the rest of my life, regardless of what I do next, YouTube will be my forever thing."

Crashed the Wedding stars Busted reunited earlier this year for their 20th anniversary. In 2015, ten years after Charlie broke fans' hearts by quitting the band, Busted got back together for a tour and subsequently released a third studio album.

However, ahead of their latest comeback the trio told of how this comeback would be different to their last "awkward" 2015 reunion. Matt began to the Mirror: "I don't think Busted fans have had this form us yet. They haven't had a real celebration of Busted, if you're a Busted fan you're gonna wanna see this."

James continued: "The whole Pigs Can Fly [tour] the whole moment was overshadowed by, 'Oh they're doing it, they're getting back together.'"

"The weirdness has gone, we've broken the ice," Charlie interjected before James added: "The awkwardness has gone and we get to come back for our 20th anniversary in the way we would like to do it."

"We were talking about doing it a certain way and I think we all agreed in the end that it was better to plan it properly, not rush it," he said. "That's why arguably we're a year late but I think it's better to be do it in the correct way, just a bit later."
