Shania Twain breaks silence after escaping horror bus crash as crew hospitalised
Shania Twain issued an update after a bus accident that occurred Wednesday during travel for the Canadian leg of her Queen Of Me tour.
The bus was traveling between Winnipeg and Saskatoon and Shania was on board. After crew members were rushed to the hospital for treatment, it was revealed that Shania herself was safe. She took to her Instagram story to update her fans. The singer wrote: "Thank you so much for the outpour of love and support from everyone. First and foremost my touring family is safe."
She added: "Anyone needing medical care is receiving great support. The local community and every single crew person has been phenomenal, in the face of a very scary scenario. Hug and hold those you love, we are doing the same!"

Shania's team, Maverick Management, told The Mirror in a statement that the crash occurred as the result of "dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather". Moreover, it involved multiple vehicles, including "one crew bus and one truck". The statement said: "Members of the production crew who require medical attention have been taken to nearby hospitals. We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support. We ask for patience as we look after our touring family.”

She'll be starting a Las Vegas residency (Variety via Getty Images)After Thursday night, Shania will be off to complete three more dates in Canada. Fans will still be able to catch her starting next year at her Las Vegas residency from May 10 to Dec. 14.
Shania fans always have great things to say when they see her live. One wrote on Instagram: "You are too kind to your fans!!!! We’ll never get over this tour and all the memories you helped us all make!! On behalf of all of us - THANK YOU!!!"
Another wrote: "BEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE!!!! CAN NEVER THANK YOU ENOUGH!!! (Oh and sorry in my nervous excitement I just ripped my shirt off!!)"
