Dolly Parton shared a moving tribute to her rarely-seen husband Carl Dean and revealed the key to their lasting marriage as they celebrate 57 years together.

Ahead of the Queen of Country's upcoming album "Rockstar" Dolly said her new music is greatly inspired by her husband that she's been devoted to since 1966. Although the pair have shared a very private relationship over the years, Dolly is ready to publicly showcase her love for her partner with her newest release.

Dolly said that although she's always held a love and appreciation for rock music, her decision to create her first album was largely influenced by her husband's love for the genre. Dolly told ABC News: "I grew up with him, you know, through the years with him of just hearing all that great music," she continued: "Of course I knew about rock before, in my early days – Elvis and Jerry Lee and all of them – but it was Carl that really made me make that final decision to think, 'You know what? I've got this great opportunity to do this, and I'm just gonna do it.'"

Although Dolly's husband has always been a harsh critic, he's given his stamp of approval on Dolly's first-ever rock album coining the album as "pretty good." Although this might seem like minor praise to some, Dolly gushed that her husband's approval of the album means more to her than anyone else's.

After almost 60 years together, Dolly was asked what her secret to a long, healthy marriage is. She confidently replied the foundation of their relationship is the "great respect" they hold for one another. Dolly's relationship is a classic "opposites attract" situation admitting their differences are what have kept their love alive and thriving for so long.

Dolly told the news outlet: "We both have a great sense of humour like this and we both just have fun being together," she added: "Our tastes are different in things but that works great, because we have - it gives us stuff to talk about. But we have our things that are perfect together, and that's been the strength of it. And we love each other."
