Coleen Rooney recalls encounter with escort Helen Wood after Wayne scandal
Coleen Rooney has opened up on a chance encounter with escort Helen Wood after it emerged her husband Wayne Rooney paid for sex when the WAG was five months pregnant with their son Kai.
The WAG shares in her new autobiography My Account that she bumped into the former escort in a nightclub not long after the scandal broke. In the memoir, she earlier described an encounter with her escort Jennifer Thompson which resulted in her friends "chasing" her after meeting the escort in a nightclub.
She wrote: "Before I could react, the girls tore up the stairs on a mission. I just stood there, clutching my drink, not knowing what to do," before continuing: "On another night, a while after, I was out at a local called Neighbourhood with some friends when I spotted Helen Wood across the room.
"It was a quiet night, so she was hard to miss. She didn't draw any attention to herself, and neither did I. That was a massive test for me and of our relationship. Everyone knows I forgave him and we got through it, but it wasn't an overnight thing. As a family, we went through a terrible time. Nothing about this was easy for me."

"This was a massive test for me and of our relationship," she added.
Jennifer and Helen hit the headlines in 2010 when they spoke out about their threesome with Wayne. They revealed they were paid £1,000 by the footballer for sex in Manchester's five-star Lowry Hotel, while Coleen was five months pregnant with son Kai.
In her new memoir, Coleen admitted this cheating scandal was a lot harder for her than previous indiscretions because they were now married with their first child on the way. Earlier in the book, Coleen addresses Wayne's first prostitute scandal in which he visited a Liverpool massage parlour in 2002, aged 16, and had sex with a 37-year-old named Gina McCarrick and a 48-year-old grandmother.
She wrote: "The full story was that when he was sixteen, Wayne had visited prostitutes in a Liverpool massage parlour. When Wayne sat me down and told me it was true and that the story was about to break in the national press I was confused and hurt. I couldn't even speak to him. More than that, I felt ashamed."
The WAG forgave the former England captain but admitted there were "a few screaming matches" as the couple tried to work through their problems. "We weren't the kids we were back then, Wayne was no longer the cocky lad trying to impress his mates. If I'd found out he was having an affair or he'd told me in love with someone else, I couldn't have gotten over it, but that wasn't the case," she added.
