Dan Walker has revealed a pair of missing teens have been found after a TV appeal.

The presenter hosts Channel 5 TV show Vanished: The Search for Britain’s Missing and after an appeal during yesterday's evening programme, he has confirmed that two teenagers - Daniel Wawrzynczak and Grace Fisher - have been found.

Daniel, who had been missing for two weeks, spoke to police after being featured on the show whilst Grace - who had been missing for nearly a month, has also been located, Dan Walker revealed today.

He said: "This is amazing news. We are so relieved that these young people have been found and are now safe and well. The whole point of Vanished is to help families whose loved ones have gone missing and we are delighted that we have been able to be part of that, working closely with Missing People and police around the UK. The whole Vanished team are really proud to be working on a programme that has a real purpose and is making a genuine impact on peoples’ lives."

Daniel Wawrzynczak, 15, went missing from his home in Chadshunt, Warwickshire back in October and he went to a police station in London after seeing an appeal on the programme, it has now been revealed. Detective Inspector Paul Sartoris, who was involved in the search, said in a statement: "Thank you to everyone who shared our appeals from Warwickshire Police and amplified the message. Daniel has returned home safe and well."

Grace Fisher, 16, from Gillingham in Kent went missing on Friday October 13th, with Kent police now confirming she has been found safe and well in Camden. Detective Chief Inspector Jonathan Faulkner from Kent Police made an appearance yesterday to urge people to help find her and thankfully, she is now known to be safe and well.

Missing People's Chief Executive Jo Youle said of the news that the teens had been found: "The response to the show has been astonishing. We have reported sightings of people who have gone missing and have also been able to help people who are either missing right now or thinking of going missing, as well as families worried about their loved ones."

Missing People works in partnership with Vanished and says it has received a record number of calls now the series is back. During last night's episode, they received one call every minute and the helpline continue to be busy throughout the evening.

The charity confirmed they had also received information about Daniel as well as missing chef Claudia Lawrence - who disappeared from York almost 15 years ago and featured in this week's programme. They handed the information over to the police.

Vanished: The search for Britain’s missing, produced by ITN Productions, is presented by Dan Walker and airs live on Channel 5, Wednesdays at 8pm. The remaining two episodes in this series will broadcast on 15th and 22nd November.
