Megan Fox admitted her "embarrassment" about writing her poetry book, but hoped the men mentioned felt just as embarrassed.

The actress released her first book, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, a collection of poems on Tuesday. The same night she held a book in New York City at the Racket venue.

Megan sat on stage with Samantha Leach, an author and Bumble editor, who led the discussion. In front of a packed audience the Jennifer's Body actress read some of her poems that had titles like " You wanted marilyn monroe but you got joan of arc instead" and "I would die for y- oh, j/k lol."

The poems go in-depth into Megan's traumatic life experiences, and note some relationships she had with "narcissistic" men that were "toxic." At her talk Megan admitted she felt embarrassed about releasing these poems and telling the world that she stayed in these unhealthy relationships.

She also admitted she wasn't able to be her "full authentic self” with the book due to her celebrity status and the status of the men she's dated. “I’m not trying to get anyone canceled, I’m not karma,” she told the crowd.

Later she said she hoped the "boys," not men, that she writes about are "embarrassed" as well by their actions. The star was careful not to name-drop anyone, though some fans think they figured out who Megan wrote about.

She describes someone as her "twin flame" which is a song title from her fiance, musician Machine Gun Kelly. She also described an unnamed man as a "32-year-old narcissist" and "complacent rock star" who lied about having good intentions with her.

Megan has had other high-profile loves that fans speculate she could be referencing in her poems. She was married to Brian Austin Green for 12 years and previously dated her Transformers co-star Shia LaBeouf.

Besides boys, Megan addressed a miscarriage she had in her last two poems, titled I and II. She revealed the loss as she wrote: "There is an ultrasound by your side of the bed, 10 weeks and 1 day … do you think that if she could have, she would have left a suicide note? But now I have to say goodbye. I close my eyes and imagine holding you tight against my chest as they rip you from my insides."
