The building of Liverpool 2.0 continues after Jurgen Klopp and his men dropped points once again on Sunday.

Their disappointing 1-1 draw away to newly-promoted Luton was only salvaged by a 95th-minute equaliser from Luis Diaz and the game has given Klopp plenty to think about at the start of a crucial week. The Reds can qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa League with a victory over Toulouse in France on Thursday before hosting Brentford in their final Premier League game before the international break.

But also on fans' minds is the January transfer window, with Liverpool set to have another opportunity to improve Klopp's squad amid their ongoing rebuild - and targets are already being sussed out. Here's a round-up of the latest news from Anfield.

Zielinski opportunity arises

Liverpool are gearing up for another attempt at signing Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, who's out of contract at the end of this season. Jurgen Klopp wanted to sign the Poland international back in 2016, even meeting him for face-to-face talks, but a deal with former club Udinese failed to materialise.

Zielinski, 29, instead went to Napoli, whom he's spent the past seven years with. Despite rejecting a big-money move to Saudi Arabia over the summer, the Pole is no closer to securing his future with the Italian champions and Corriere della Sport report that Liverpool are keen on a move - although they won't be without competition.

FA won't punish Diaz

The FA won't charge Luis Diaz for displaying a message on his shirt after scoring a dramatic late equaliser to rescue a draw for Liverpool. Diaz's father was recently kidnapped, with ELN rebels in their native Colombia demanding "security guarantees" in exchange for his freedom.

After coming off the bench and making it 1-1 against Luton deep into injury time, the 26-year-old winger lifted his shirt to unveil a printed message which read: "Libertad Para Papa" (Freedom for Dad). Diaz technically broke the rules by doing so, but the FA won't take action.

Konate drops PSG hint

Ibrahima Konate has refused to rule out a move to Paris Saint-Germain as Liverpool face calls to sign a new centre-back. The France international, 24, is in his third season with the Reds but has so far failed to establish himself as a world-class partner for the ageing Virgil van Dijk.

In an interview with Canal Plus, Konate was asked about the prospect of signing for his local club, having never been part of their academy set-up. "If I said no, I'd be lying," the ex-RB Leipzig defender admitted. "But if you're asking, is it one of my objectives? Not at all."
