The award-winning performer continued by saying: "When they come over, they love playing with the dogs, y'know we have fun. I haven't had much fun in my life, to tell you the truth." She concluded: "And I want to have more fun."

During the interview, Barbra also stated that "music is work" to her. She said: "I love making records, but what I have to go through to get it out [includes] mixing it [and] listening to it on different systems. It's work. I mean it takes time." She subsequently teased: "So by the time it's over, I never wanna hear it again. Until maybe 25 years later."

It was suggested that she prefers to play games on her phone instead. She shared: "That's the way I take the problems of the world out of head, out of my brain cause otherwise I couldn't be able to sleep. So when I'm playing backgammon [or] playing solitaire, y'know you have to think. I wanna win, I wanna win that game. That calms me!"
