EastEnders actress Jessie Wallace has been spotted on a night out alongside notorious road rage killer Kenneth Noye.

The 52-year-old BBC soap actress, who has played the iconic Kat Slater on and off since 2000, was seen spending the evening alongside Kenneth, 76, and others inside a VIP box, reportedly owned by City trading group OSTC, at the East London venue earlier this week.

It is reported they were among a group of £200-a-head guests as they were seen at the bar and later sitting down in a private box to watch the Elvis Live on Screen with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra earlier this week.

Jessie and Kenneth were reportedly introduced to one another at the event earlier this week by a mutual friend. A source claimed to The Sun: "They were both in the corporate box living it up. Seeing Kat Slater swaying along to Elvis beside Kenny Noye was surreal to say the least — not to mention incredibly uncomfortable."

The source added that the guest list for the swanky private boxes have to be 'signed off in advance'. They claimed: "People were aware who else was in attendance and Kenneth was gossiped about in advance — everyone was pretty stunned he was going."

While Jessie is best known for her role on EastEnders, Kenneth made headlines in 1996 for the road rage killing of Stephen Cameron. Noye stabbed Stephen, 21, to death on the M25 in Swanley, Kent during a road rage incident in front of the victim's 17-year-old fiancée.

Noye was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2000, with a minimum term of 16 years. He was released from prison in 2019 and placed on licence.

Retired detective superintendent Nick Biddiss, who led the murder investigation, told the publication: "He’s out and about enjoying his life. It doesn’t feel like justice to me."

Before the murder, Noye was jailed in 1986 for his role in the Binky Mat bullion robbery, which was the subject of the BBC series The Gold, which was released earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Kat Slater actress Jessie has also had run-ins with the law. Last year she was arrested for allegedly attacking a police officer outside a nightclub. She accepted a conditional caution for the incident, which took place outside Verve nightclub, in Bury St Edmonds and was "spoken to" by BBC bosses about her conduct.

She has also faced suspensions from the soap in the past. She was first suspended for two months in 2003 because of her behaviour, and she said at the time that it was such a blow that it gave her the drive to better herself. She explained to The Guardian: "It really was a kick in the teeth. I would turn up late. I was so blasé about stuff. I don't think I was very popular at the time on set. The two months' suspension gave me two months to think about what I was doing."

And, in 2020, she was once again handed a two-month suspension from EastEnders after her behaviour was called into question over an incident while filming the show's 35th anniversary special.

"Bosses were left with no choice but to discipline her," an insider told The Mirror at the time. "During the meeting, she was told to sort herself out before returning to work."
