Charlotte Crosby engaged as Jake Ankers proposes a year after giving birth
Charlotte Crosby is engaged, she has announced.
The reality TV legend announced the happy news on social media late on Thursday, revealing her beau of two years Jake Ankers had got down on one knee. Showing the romantic proposal, the Geordie Shore star appeared shocked, surrounded by red petals.
Stood in front of the picturesque Dubai skyline, the 33-year-old held her hands in front of her face, clearly stunned in the moment. It's thought the romantic ordeal was filmed for TV as a boom microphone could be seen in the picture posted on Instagram.

It was earlier last year the couple welcomed a child (Instagram)Alongside the sweet picture, Charlotte penned: "Happiest woman in the world. Yes yes yes and yes @jake_ankers you are my best friend you are my lif️e. i CANT BELIEVE IM ENGAGED AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh. Best night ever."
Friends, family and fans flocked to the post's comments section, congratulating the pair on their engagement news. Friend Lizzie Cundy was amongst the first to send her well-wises to the happy couple, writing: "Huge congrats," with love emojis.

Close pal and In The Style boss Adam Frisby commented: "YESSSSSSSS!!! I always told you this day would come Charlotte.️ after everything you’ve been through… finally… the man of your dreams, with your little baby Alba and now engaged!! What dreams are made of and only what you deserve!! So proud of you and so happy for you both."
Charlotte's mum Letitia wrote beneath the post: "Finally omg I could not be happier and well done Jake for pulling it off. She finally got her Prince and I couldn’t be happier for her and of course for you jake love you both so much."
One fan added: "Ahhhh unreal you deserve every minute of this! Congratulations angel." While someone else penned: "This! Awww Charlotte! Hugest congrats ever! Wish you a lifetime of happiness! @charlottegshore."
Her happy news comes after Charlotte revealed she's been having an 'awful time' dealing with her body image since becoming a new mother. She welcomed her first child, Alba-Jean, with her partner Jake in October last year.
Although having her baby has been a dream come true, her confidence has taken a hit. In December, she dissolved her lip fillers after her post-pregnancy swelling made them look 'too ridiculous'. She admitted she felt more confident with lip filler and now struggles to 'feel confident in front of cameras'.
"Getting them dissolved is not worth how I feel. I feel self-conscious and it's not nice to feel like that," she revealed. Speaking to New Magazine, she said: "When you have a baby, your body changes and you have these battles with your image. It's an awful time. Dissolving my lips at that point was not a good idea, but I couldn't have walked around with them that big. It was a Catch-22."
