Tyson Fury shows off black eye with wife and son after Francis Ngannou fight

Tyson Fury' s face is still badly bruised several days on from his controversial fight against Francis Ngannou.

Heavyweight champion Fury won a split decision against Ngannou, who was making his boxing debut, last weekend in Saudi Arabia. 'The Gypsy King' was expected to breeze past Ngannou to set up an undisputed heavyweight world title fight against Oleksandr Usyk on December 23, but he was put down on the canvas and had to dig deep to secure the win.

Pictured outside of his home in Morecambe, Fury was spotted alongside wife Paris getting into his Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II car, which is worth over £300,000. It's also the first time the couple have been seen out together in public with their new son and seventh child, Prince Rico Paris Fury.

Ngannou was being laughed at by pundits for believing he stood a chance in the fight and Fury admitted the former UFC champion was his toughest opponent of the past decade. "It wasn't the best performance but I am not going to make any excuses; I had a good camp, there was no one to blame. It was a tough fight, I had to get off the floor to win and there's no excuses," Fury told iFLTV after his win.

"It was a below par performance but take nothing away from the other man, you're only as good as your opponent will let you be, that's a fact... If I'd have listened to the media and the so-called boxing experts saying 'oh it's an easy fight, it's a mismatch, not worth watching' then I wouldn't have been able to win that fight.

Fury insisted he would be taking legal action against Usyk if he was unable to make their planned December date, but the Brit is now at blame for the fight being pushed back. The damage he unexpectedly sustained in his crossover bout with Ngannou means the undisputed fight is now being targeted for the end of Riyadh season in February.

Fury refused to discuss his planned fight with Usyk after beating Ngannou as he said: "They [Saudi] will sort it out when they sort it out. Until that day, I'm not interested. I said before, don't bother me about boxing until after this fight. I'm going home to spend time with my kids, I've had a newborn baby I've seen three times that's six weeks old already."
