As the average person brushes their teeth 730 times a year, finding a toothbrush that does the job well is pretty important if you want to keep your gnashers in tip top condition. It's well noted by dentists that electric toothbrushes are much better for dental hygiene than their manual counterparts, but more often than not, they come with a higher price tag.

Keeping your eye out for electric toothbrush deals can be a great way to get cleaner teeth for less, and with retailers now launching their Black Friday sales early, we've found a sale that you won't want to miss out on.

Currys has reduced the price of the Oral-B Pro 3 Electric Toothbrush, so you can shop it now for £34.99 - that's a huge saving of £65. Available in black or pink, both come with a handy hygiene case which is great for travelling.

We tried out four electric toothbrushes for Mirror Choice, and while the Philips Sonicare DiamonClean Prestige was our favourite, the Oral-B Pro 3 is a brilliant alternative - and it costs over £500 less.

It features a clever pressure sensor that lights up red to alert you that you are brushing too hard, so you're way less likely to damage your teeth and gums. The sleek design also has three smart brushing modes to choose from, including daily clean, whitening, and sensitive mode.

I personally loved the timer that reminds you to switch which area of your mouth you are cleaning every 30 seconds, so by the end of the recommended two minutes brushing time, my teeth felt super clean and I was sure I hadn't missed a spot.

Unlike the Philips device, it doesn't have an app that you can use alongside your toothbrush, but for the price of £34.99 I don't think it will be a feature you miss.

You can also save money on toothbrush head replacements at Currys, and as it is recommended you change your toothbrush head every three months, it's a brilliant opportunity to stock up. Oral-B brush heads are compatible on all their devices, and you can get a pack of four for £12.99 instead of £19.99 this Black Friday.
