Rihanna's 'heavenly' signature perfume now has 20% off in Black Friday sale
In countless interviews many celebs have insisted that Rihanna is one of the best smelling people they've ever met. John Lewis have slashed the price down of what is rumoured to be her signature scent from over £200. Right now, customers can save 20% on the 'Love, don't be shy perfume' by Kilian Paris.
On The Ellen Show in 2015 Jim Parsons said: "Can I tell you, I've been doing press for the past four days with Rihanna and Steve, but Rihanna smells so good. I am not kidding, she has a scent. To the point that I took the elevator down to press and I went [sniffs air] she was just in here."
When Ellen asked what she smelled like Jim simply said 'heaven'. Jim Parsons isn't the only one to say the businesswoman smells this way, with Lil Nas X saying that his favourite smell is Rihanna and that the easiest way to describe her scent is 'she smells like heaven'.

Countless celebrities have said that Rihanna is the best smelling celebrity they've ever met which has had thousands of shoppers desperate to know just what Rihanna actually wears. She came out with her own Fenty EDP in 2021, but with so many people commenting on her scent before that, it's clear that there was something that came first.

Rihanna has never confirmed it herself, but back in 2016 her friend posted a video where he told the world that she wears a fragrance called Love by Kilian. When her friend reveals the scent the songstress opens her eyes in shock before saying: "I don't even tell anyone what I wear!"
When looking at By Kilian's fragrance range Rihanna fans may get excited on seeing there is a scent called Good Girl Gone Bad, just like Rihanna's 2007 album, this scent was released in 2012 and isn't the one mentioned in the video. It's believed that perfume is Love, don't be shy.
This conclusion was drawn since the bottle says 'Love by Kilian' before putting the 'don't be shy' part of the name underneath the brand name, making it look more like a slogan. At a glance it would be easy to conclude that this scent was simply Love by Kilian.
Love, Don't Be Shy was released the same year as Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad album and is a deeply gourmand scent. The base notes that linger on the skin for hours are sugar, vanilla, caramel, musk, civet and labdanum - these work together for a sweet and animalic fragrance which is quite an unusual combination.
The heart notes are more floral - we have orange blossom, honeysuckle, jasmine, iris and rose which work together to add an extra depth to the sweet scent. The top notes are spicy citrus touches with pink pepper, coriander, bergamot and neroli. It's not a blend of scents you see everyday but evidently it works.

A second penned: "I’m shocked I really enjoy this because I do not like sweet, overly sugared scents. I think the orange blossom really helps keep this less on the brown sugar vanilla and more on the soapy candy side. The best combo I have found so far is LDBS + Delina. Those two together is a s*x bomb. I have gotten too many compliments to note.
"Recently went on a first date, wore that combo and the waitress came by interrupting our conversation but she looked in love lol. She told me that I smell like heaven and she keeps purposely walking by me so she can smell me. Probably the best perfume compliment I’ve gotten and it made my date sit upright in his chair lol.
