Donald Trump and Melania brush away split rumours at raucous Halloween party
Donald Trump and wife Melania have been spotted out in public together for the first time in seven months as they attended a Halloween party at Mar-a-Lago last night.
Trump decided not to don a costume for the occasion, instead wearing his traditional look of a suit and red tie as he gave a thumbs up to a cheering crowd. Melania opted for a black dress paired with a choker and stilettos and was seen waving at resort guests.
The couple made a grand entrance to Metallica's hit son 'Enter Sandman' with Trump seen pointing to one attendee, declaring "There you go!". Melania's appearance was a shock to many as the former First Lady has been absent from some huge moments in recent times, including all of Trump's indictments this year.

Trump and Melania were last seen together in public at Easter when they enjoyed lunch together at the Palm Beach club. Despite key family members, including Trump's sons Eric and Donald Jr, set to take the stand in Trump's civil fraud trial the pair looked relaxed as they strolled through the dining room.

Guests dressed in their best costumes, with many taking the opportunity to poke fun at President Joe Biden and his troubled son Hunter.
As the party stretched into the night, Trump was seen taking on DJ duties, choosing songs from a Spotify playlist while guests danced. Donald Jr's partner Kimberly Guilfoyle was also at the Halloween bash, appearing unconcerned about her partner's upcoming testimony in the Manhattan courtroom. She was spotted in an Instagram picture from the party beaming in a red, yellow and blue Snow White costume as she posed with someone in a Red Riding Hood costume.
As he walked into the golf glub's main room, Trump defiantly raised his fists to the audience, appearing unconcerned by his sons' imminent testimony over his business dealings at his New York fraud trial. Both Donald Jr and Eric took over the daily handling of the Trump Organization when their father was elected president, offering an intimate knowledge of the company's inner workings.
Prosecutors in the case allege that Trump artificially inflated his wealth throughout his career in order to secure better deals and loans in New York. Trump has faced this trial in Manhattan without Melania by his side as rumours swirled that the couple have been living separate lives dating back as far as when Trump was in the White House.
Melania wasn't seen by her husband's side after he was arraigned for allegedly making hush-money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. Following that first indictment, Melania has been notably absent from her husband's three subsequent legal battles.
In June, Trump was indicted in Florida for his alleged mishandling of classified government documents. As he faced another 40 criminal charges, Melania was once again nowhere to be seen, with reports suggesting she was spending most of her time in New York.
Then in August, Trump faced one of his biggest court appearances as he was indicted in Washington DC and Georgia for his alleged efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. Despite Trump making his way to Atlanta, Georgia, to face the charges, and have his historic mug shot taken, Melania did not make the trip down south to join him.
