X Factor's Ella Henderson rushed to hospital as singing star poses in crutches
The X Factor star Ella Henderson was rushed to hospital after "f***ing up" her ankle as she showed the extent of her injuries on Instagram.
The 27-year-old posed in a hospital ward as she announced the unfortunate news in her latest snap uploaded on social media on Tuesday. Ella showed her leg in a boot as she stood with a doctor in what looked to be A&E ahead of Halloween.
She made reference to the spooky season in her post, telling followers that she wouldn't be taking part in any parties or performances as a result of her injuries. "HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2023," she wrote to fans in the smiling snap on Instagram.

Fans flocked to the post's comments section, with one saying: "Get better soon babe."
While someone else added: "Oh Ella, hope it gets better ASAP." A third person commented: "Nooooooo - get better soon mate!!!" The upload comes after Ella flashed her rumoured £70,000 engagement ring from beau Jack Burnell.

It was in February this year that Ella partied the night away last night at The Nomad Hotel as she seized the opportunity to show off her impressive ring at the BRIT Awards. She looked stylish in a white blazer with shoulder pads, which she twinned with black wide-leg trousers and a slew of bedazzled jewellery and accessories - including a diamante purse and hair gems.
The star's best accessory was undoubtedly her huge engagement ring from husband-to-be Jack, who got down on one knee and proposed to Ella in January. Stepping out of the venue with her Team GB partner and professional swimmer Jack, 29 - who looked dapper in a black suit and partly unbuttoned white shirt - the pair hailed a taxi and headed for home.
Styling her long blonde locks in a half-up-half-down look, she also opted for a dewy palette of makeup and shimmery light blue eyeshadow alongside a nude lipstick. Ella shared a glimpse of the sparkly number on her left hand on the day that Jack popped the question in Mauritius in January with the oval-shaped diamond ring, of which Ella has posted several photos to her social media pages.
When she returned to the UK, Ella shared a romantic meal with her husband-to-be, enjoying oysters and champagne to commemorate her birthday, having shared a snap with the ring on show. Kyron Keogh, the Co-founder of luxury jewellery company Rox Jewellers has estimated that the sparkler is worth an excess of £70,000.
Speaking to MailOnline, the jewellery expert said: "Singer Ella Henderson's engagement ring is a unique three-stone diamond piece, an elegant mix of a centre oval diamond surrounded by two pear-shaped diamonds. From the photos, it looks like the centre diamond is approximately 2.50 carats, and the pear diamonds surrounding it are about 0.50. The ring could be worth an estimated £70k plus. Three-stone engagement rings are becoming increasingly popular, especially with celebs like Meghan Markle and Gwen Stefani rocking this style."
