Tanguy Ndombele has been involved in a bust-up with Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk after the midfielder reportedly ordered a burger at the team hotel after their Champions League loss to Bayern Munich.

The Turkish outfit went down 3-1 to their German opponents, who scored twice in the final 20 minutes. Ndombele has headed to Galatasaray for the season on loan from Tottenham, who again sanctioned a temporary move away for the third successive season.

Ndombele came on for the closing stages for that match and has started just one match this season, with Buruk growing frustrated with his fitness. Fotospor claims the midfielder is 6kg overweight and he has been told that he will not play again until he drops his bodyweight to 75kg.

Ndombele, who did not feature at the weekend, has been put on a strict diet plan to cut down and his latest antics are said to have riled Buruk and the Galatasaray staff further.

Galatasaray have the option to buy Ndombele for £13.1m, but instead are considering terminating the loan prematurely. He has played just 93 minutes of league football for the Turkish side so far this season, despite helping Napoli claim the Serie A title last term.

New Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou raised issues with the Frenchman's physique when he arrived and told football.london that Ndombele was among the players who were "a little bit physically behind the rest".. The Australian added: "The way we play there's a bit that I need to be strong on and that is that you've got to be at a certain physical level to play this kind of football".

Jose Mourinho also raised concerns when he was in north London about the midfielder. He hauled him off at half-time during a game at Burnley and said: "I was expecting players not tired to give more to the team, and I think somebody has to realise that this is the Premier League, and this is a new experience."

Ndombele is yet to find a settled home since leaving Lyon after a breakout season with the French club. Tottenham have been unable to get the best from him and the 26-year-old has been loaned out on three occasions with his last full season in north London coming in 2021/22.
