Quality Street tins are a staple at Christmas time, and everyone has their favourite chocolate. If you're lucky enough to have a whole tin to yourself you'll end up with a whole load of treats left at the end - and these are normally the ones you don't like.

The original tin boasts a mixture of individually wrapped chocolates, toffees and fruit cremes - but everyone always has their favourite. And it's always disappointing when all the best ones are gone, and you're stuck with the ones no one likes.

But luckily, there's a way for Quality Street fans to create a whole tin filled with just their favourite flavour - and it's a game changer. You can now add whichever flavour you want to a limited edition or personalised tin. There's 12 iconic flavours to choose from, including coffee creme and the green triangle.

If your dream is to fill a whole tin with just the strawberry cremes, you have to be a John Lewis member. You can join for free - all you need is to be aged 18 or over and have a valid UK postal address. But if you don't want to join, you can still make your own tin - but there has to be at least three flavours.

However, savvy shoppers have found a way to be able to fill up a whole tin of your favourite flavour without being a John Lewis member. Taking to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bagains UK, savvy shopper Kimberly shared the rick to be able to trick the system.

Kimberly explained: "You can only have one flavour if you're a member and I'm not a John Lewis member. But when I went today and filled my tin with one flavour (obviously the green triangle) I then just added one single toffee penny and one single purple one. So, I still got my full tin of my one favourite flavour, and still followed the three selections rule not being a member."

You can pay £15 for a brand new tub, or £12.50 to refill and old one. You could also personalise it as a special gift by adding your name on the lid, which will cost you £17.
