Maya Jama and Stormzy embroiled in furious row in alleyway as TV host 'in tears'
Things turned tense between Maya Jama and Stormzy as they were seen having a long and heated row in the street.
The couple, who finally confirmed romance rumours after the rapper surprised her with a romantic gesture last month, were seen having a blazing argument down an alleyway. The honeymoon period already seems to be over and hours after they landed in Los Angeles the strain started to show.
Their break didn't get off to a good start as the pair, said to have rekindled their romance late last year, had some choice words for one another. Love Island host Maya stood arms-crossed and looked totally unimpressed as her boyfriend let rip before they hugged it out. She still appeared upset as they walked away holding hands.

She appeared to wipe away a tear as they left the area following the exchange in America.
“Stormzy and Maya had a real bust up on Saturday morning," one onlooker told The Sun. “They were in an alleyway in downtown LA the day after they landed and he seemed pretty annoyed about something - Stormzy was raising his voice and waving his hands around for a good ten minutes.

"At one point she seemed a little bit teary and eventually Stormzy went over and put his arm over her shoulders," the bystander who witnessed the pair's argument went on. "They had a quick hug and then walked off but Maya looked pretty upset.”
They first called time on their romance back in 2019 and have since gone on to date other people and focus on their careers. But it seems that they couldn't stay away from each other and are now giving things another go - even if they do have the occasional row.
Maya first met Stormzy in 2014 when they were both relatively unknown at the start of their careers. She later admitted she "fancied him from the start", but the pair were friends for three months before getting together. But things went sour four years ago when Maya moved out of the couple's home and they spit.
At the time they claimed the split was amicable until the presenter unfollowed Stormzy amid allegations he'd cheated on her - which he denied. Stormzy previously admitted that he made mistakes the first time around but has since grown. Speaking to Louis Theroux on his interview series, Stormzy likened their split to a bereavement.
"My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man. It was like, OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you," he said. That’s probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn’t it? Away from someone passing away, that’s the biggest loss you can have."
