BBC EastEnders' Jacqueline Jossa shares 'unreal' birthday cake with link to soap
Former EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa unveiled her incredible EastEnders-themed 31st birthday cake on Instagram after celebrating her big day over the weekend.
The actress shared her excitement on social media, revealing she has been gifted a Queen Vic cake from TOWIE star husband Dan Osborne, 32, and handmade cards from her two daughters. The stunning birthday cake is the exact replica of the iconic gold statue that sits in the Queen Vic pub in Walford. The gesture proves even more special after Jossa announced she is heading back to Walford full-time.
Showing off the incredible cake, the soap star posted a series of snaps to her page. The mum-of-two looked stunning as she posed beside the Queen Vic cake in a gorgeous light-pink dress. The inside of her home is beautifully decorated with pink, white, and gold balloons, and a bouquet of flowers sits beside the cake.
She wrote in the caption: "It’s my birthday and I’m Heading back to the square so Dan got me an unreal cake!! Queen Vic." She added: "As I wind down on my amazing family holiday, I spent my birthday with my most loved people."
"I’m so lucky to have such amazing family, I really am. I love all of them so so much. My best friends in the world are related to me and I would have it any other way. I am always so supported and celebrated and I just feel so lucky to have such incredible people in my life. Thank you to Daniel for this amazing cake idea! Really special. @laracakes thanks so much for making this!".
EastEnders' Jake Wood's snap of son has fans pointing out the pair's likenessShe continued: "Heading back in to a full time full on job is scary and exciting but I couldn’t be more ready to see what Lauren Brannings been up to. Going back wouldn’t be possible without my amazing family that helps so much with everything day to day. Thank you so much. I am so blessed."
She also received adorable cards from her two daughters, Mia and Ella. One card said: "Happy birthday, love mummy. From Mia, 31" with a drawn birthday cake. While the second from her eldest daughter Ella read: "Mum, you are the best. Happy Birthday" with "I love you" and "the best" also written down the side alongside decorative hearts.
The 31-year-old is set to make her Albert Square comeback as Lauren Branning full-time. Jacqueline quit her role in 2018 following a dramatic Christmas storyline. She left Walford with her son Louie to reunite with Pete Beale in New Zealand. The actress has had a number of guest appearances since she left five years ago, such as attending Dot Cotton's funeral in December last year.
