Boots fans 'abandon' pricey ghds for budget-friendly £30 straighteners

If you want sleek, straight hair, Boots have a deal that you won't want to miss out on - the Remington Shine Therapy Hair Straighteners are on sale for 37% off.

The hair tool that shoppers are 'abandoning' their pricier gh and Cloud Nine devices for are usually priced at £79, but Boots have slashed the price to just £29.

You don't have to just take shopper's words for it, Mirror beauty writer Bethan Shufflebotham tried them out on her strands and reported that, "it took me under 10 minutes to straighten all my hair and styling no longer felt like a chore."

Proving that top-end hair tools don't have to cost the earth, she said: "For the price - coming in five times cheaper than Cloud Nine and a quarter of the price of ghds- I really couldn’t fault them." Praising them for leaving her with pin-straight locks that were "really moisturised and glossy," she loved the sleek black and white design.

Bethan did mention that they "took around 20-25 seconds to heat up," which is a little longer than other tools on the market, but you can choose which temperature setting to go for depending on your hair type which is a handy feature.
