Big Brother star shares tragic ectopic pregnancy in update after hospital dash
Lateysha Grace has revealed that she has suffered an ectopic pregnancy in a heartbreaking update after she was rushed to hospital last week for 'life-saving' surgery.
The Celebrity Big Brother star, 30, didn't specify at the time what the surgery was for, but in an emotional update, the reality TV star shared the devastating news. An ectopic pregnancy happens when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes.
The fallopian tubes are the tubes connecting the ovaries to the womb. If an egg gets stuck in them, it won't develop into a baby and your health may be at risk if the pregnancy continues. Unfortunately, it's not possible to save the pregnancy. It usually has to be removed using medicine or an operation.
In a heartbreaking update on Monday morning, Lateysha said she discovered she was pregnant three months ago. Soon after, she woke up with excruciating pains in her stomach before she collapsed on the bathroom floor. She was then rushed to hospital.

"This week has been one of the scariest most heartbreaking of my life," the stat penned. "I found out I was pregnant 3 months ago. I was shocked and surprised but so happy to add to my family, unfortunately I thought I had lost the baby a couple weeks after but in fact I hadn't.
"I woke up one morning with the most awful pain in my stomach and collapsed on my bathroom floor, I got rushed to hospital to find out I hadn't lost my baby it was in fact growing in the wrong place and was an ectopic pregnancy.
"The scans showed that I had severe internal bleeding. To be told that they have blood transfusion on standby was so scary. I was rushed down to theatre straight away to be operated on as my tube was about to rupture at an minute."
The former Celebrity Big Brother star went on: "I'm so thankful to the hospital staff for saving my life, drs and nurses are true angels in disguise. Not only have I had to mourn my unborn baby twice but I've also lost my tube in the process.
"If anyone has been through this and has any advice on how they dealt with such an awful situation would be much appreciated. Also if anyone has any of the symptoms included in this post please seek medical advice asap."
The devastating news comes a week after Lateysha took to social media to tell her followers that she was rushed to hospital for the life saving surgery.

Following the operation, she gave fans an update (Instagram)At the time, the star posted picture in her hospital bed, and penned: "Life comes at you so fast, about to go down for life saving surgery, I'm so scared right now. Please pray for me."
She later updated fans following the operation and wrote: "Thank you for everyone's well wishes. I appreciate you all so much. My op went well thank the lord. These last 24 hours have been traumatising. I can't wait to get home to my girls.
"I can't thank the drs and nurses enough. They truly are angles. I'm going to take a little break to process what's gone on. Again thank you I love you all xx"
Lateysha first appeared on TV screens in the reality TV series The Valleys, which saw her and other young Welsh people move to Cardiff in Wales to pursue their dreams. The reality series began in 2012 and ran for three series before it was axed in 2014.

Following her start on reality TV, Lateysha branched out into influencing and attempted to kick-start her music career – while also releasing her autobiography.
She then entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2016 and went viral when she appeared on Big Brother's Bit on the Side, as her dress ripped open when she twerked in front of host Rylan for the cameras. Lateysha went on to star in her own reality series, MTV's Million Dollar Baby, where she tried to launch a modelling career for her older daughter Wynter.
Lateysha also appeared on Ex On The Beach and Just Tattoo Of Us.
