Billie Faiers has hit back after been cruelly mum-shamed for going on luxury holidays with her sister Sam Faiers and their kids.

The reality star sisters, who both shot to fame on ITVX series The Only Way Is Essex, have come under fire for the amount of fancy holidays they go per year. Recent trips have included Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the Maldives and Greece. While most of 33-year-old Billie’s 2.7 million followers love seeing her post cute updates with husband Greg Shepherd and their three kids, Nelly, nine, Arthur, six, and 10-month-old Margot, some have accused her of “flaunting her wealth”.

On her most recent trip to Dubai, Billie and Sam decided to surprise their kids – who didn’t know their cousins were also going on the holiday. She shared a video of the adorable moment they realised and wrote: “Me and @samanthafaiers decided to surprise the kids on holiday. Their reactions were priceless!”

Billie continued: “Memories we will truly cherish forever. The way Paul and Arthur (they were in complete shock). I have watched this video over and over again!! I love you all so much our beautiful babies.”

Both Billie and Sam are mums of three. Sam shares Paul Jnr, seven, Rosie, five, and 15-month-old Edward with her long-term partner Paul Knightley, who she has been in a relationship with since 2014. With their kids being similar ages they often holiday together. Most fans labelled posts from their most recent getaway “adorable”, “so cute” and “the sweetest thing”, with one writing: “There is literally nothing like your siblings having kids and their bond.”

But others left cruel comments with one writing: “Bragging about your wealth as always.” While another said: “How vile you seem to rub your new wealth into people’s faces.. show some compassion for how your followers are struggling at the moment.”

A third added: “I am not hating but it’s sickening when all you do is flaunt your life off on social media and get paid to promote brands that you don’t even use or would never entertain but because they pay you money to endorse their products and make out you use them, you just do it because they pay you money.”

Following a recent holiday to Greece, another follower wrote: “Wow more holidays?? How come you built such a beautiful home, yet never in it… should've just stayed in original home then!! That's all they needed if constantly on a paid holiday." Leaping to Billie's defence, one fan pointed out: "Sound very jealous love, if you notice they go on holiday in the kids holidays .. just cause they have more holidays than most and can why is that anyones business they work hard why not enjoy it.”

The latest comments come after Billie opened up about how she deals with social media trolls. She told OK! magazine: “It’s horrible getting nasty comments on social media, but I feel like I’ve been in the industry so long that I’ve got a second layer of skin to it. I try to delete or block any negativity on my page towards me or my family. I know it’s not easy for everyone to do that, but that’s the way I try to switch off from it. Social media can be amazing, but there are also not so positive things that come from it.”

Billie added: “It’s hard not to go down a dark rabbit hole and bite back – I often think who actually does things like that [posting nasty comments[. You have to be a certain type pf person.”
