Arsenal have a chance to pile the pressure on their title rivals on Saturday as they play host to Premier League strugglers Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are coming off an impressive win away to Sevilla in the Champions League which boosts their chances of progressing to the knockout stages, but domestic matters are now the priority. After the Blades come to the capital, Mikel Arteta's men have a London derby against West Ham in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

They will be without a number of senior stars for both games, though manager Arteta will feel his squad has the quality to pick up results regardless. Here are the latest lines from North London, including the latest on those injuries.

Two face spells on sidelines

Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey are both set for extended absences, with Mikel Arteta providing updates on the injured pair. Partey missed Tuesday night's game after picking up a problem in training, while Jesus scored in Spain but failed to complete the match.

"With Gabi I cannot give you any time frame because he always surprises us," Arteta said. "He felt something there, it was a really awkward action. It’s true that he had quite a lot of load in those games playing with the national team and with us which he hasn’t done in a long, long time. That’s really bad news for us.

On Partey, Arteta said: "He’s got a muscle injury and we expect him to be out for a few weeks. We don’t know the extent of it still, he has more tests today. He got that injury in training, with the last kick of the ball. Very unfortunate."

Arsenal are keen to tie down Amario Cozier-Duberry to a longer-term deal after the youngster's displays at age group level impressed those inside and outside the club. The 18-year-old, who was on the bench for the Carabao Cup win at Brentford in September, has attracted interest in the Premier League and beyond.

Former Gunners star and current coach Jack Wilshere has sung the winger's praises in the past, calling him "unplayable". However, with Cozier-Duberry out of contract at the end of the season, the club are at risk of losing him before he makes a senior debut.

An England under-19 international, the teenager has one goal and two assists in five Premier League 2 outings this season. He made matchday squads for the Premier League and Europa League last season, but is still waiting on his first minutes.

Partey growing 'dissatisfied'

Thomas Partey is said to be increasingly unhappy at Arsenal, adding to suggestions he could leave the club. The Ghanaian attracted interest from the Saudi Pro League over the summer, but ended up staying at the Emirates Stadium.

According to Tutto Juve, Juventus are among the interested parties if he does indeed opt to leave North London. However, the Turin club are said to favour a loan move over a permanent deal.

Partey started the season at full-back as Arsenal adapted to some high-profile absences and has yet to start a game in his favoured central midfield position this term. He recovered from injury to play 15 minutes in the win over Manchester City, but now faces more time on the sidelines.
