The dad, found fame in Hollyoaks and Footballers' Wives, has two daughters and two sons from his marriage to Natasha Gray and this year welcomed a fifth child with Love Island star Laura Anderson.
The 41-year-old soap actor married ex-Emmerdale actress Natasha in 2014 but the pair took the decision to separate in 2018. The breakdown of the marriage sparked controversy as Natasha was pregnant at the time with their second son, Thodore, who arrived just weeks after their split.
Gary and Natasha have a daughter named India who was born in 2005, a son named Elvis who was born in 2011 and another daughter named Sadie, who was born in 2015. After he split with Natasha, Gary eventually found love again with reality star Laura, 34, after meeting via hit E4 reality show Celebs Go Dating.
The couple embarked on a high profile romance - and later revealed they were expecting a baby together. Gary drew attention again when he split with Laura weeks before their daughter, Bonnie Rose Lucy Anderson, arrived in September.

He shares his youngest child with Love Island star Laura Anderson (lauraanderson1x/Instagram)Gary has always spoken warmly about his role as a father, but on Friday, the TV star hinted he was having issues connecting with some of his kids. Taking to Instagram Stories, the Hollyoaks star shared a screenshot of himself appearing to look bored on a video call.
He wrote alongside the image: “The face of a Daddy trying to get 5 mins of FaceTime with his Bubbas.”
Gary previously explained that he was concerned how he could be a present father for all his children when his estranged wife Natasha and now ex-girlfriend Laura lived far apart - saying that the ‘impossible’ decision led him to split with Laura. He said: “Laura did want me to move but I have my responsibilities here.
“I have four kids and all the things that go along with that so it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to uproot at this time. Having gone through a divorce, my children need me and living such a long way from them just would not be possible. I wish I could break myself in half. I would if I could.”
When she was still pregnant, Laura explained that she had not seen the split coming. She explained online: “Breaking up with the father of my child [Gary] was not planned. So that was something difficult to deal with, and it was unpredicted, but in a weird way, you just have to think that life doesn't always go to plan.
“I think having a child gives you a lot of strengths, strangely, because you're constantly thinking about someone else. And you just need to try and be your best and make the right decisions all the time. So it does give you that sort of boost...even when you're tired and vomiting."
