MAFS fans astounded by Peggy's transformation as Take Me Out date resurfaces

Married At First Sight viewers were stunned to see Peggy Rose Lawrence looking unrecognisable in a resurfaced clip of her time on ITV's Take Me Out.

The former technology risk partner, 32, is currently figuring out whether she wants to stay married to Georges Berthonneau, 30, on the Channel 4 dating show after showing reluctance to engage in a physical romance with him. However, Peggy - who looks unrecognisable in the resurfaced video with dark hair and thick black eye-liner - didn't seem to have any worries in that department when she appeared on the ITV show, as she snogged her partner throughout their date despite joking she didn't remember his name.

In a clip from the reality dating series, filmed in 2012, Peggy and suitor Andrew are seen on The Isle Of Fernando - the fictional location where successful contestants are sent to get to know each other As they spend time together, Peggy brands her beau her "dream man" as they lark about watching dolphins in the Mediterranean.

Opening up about her feelings towards Andrew, Peggy says: "He was as good looking as I remember. Tall, handsome. Like words can't describe how much I fancy the guy... When Andrew kissed me, at first I was like, woah! Hold on a minute! What's your name again? But I weren't stopping him, I weren't gonna stop him either you know. Carry on!"

A number of X, formerly Twitter, users, were quick to pick up on the reality star's flirty nature, as one said: "Well she’s kissed this guy more on the first date than she has the whole time she’s been married to Georges it seems! Maybe she really doesn’t fancy Georges, which is why the intimacy isn’t progressing."

While another said: "She will barely touch Georges when she is married to & with him for pretty much 24/7 for 2 months, but look how many snogs this guy got on a first date!..."

Since waltzing down the aisle, Peggy and Georges haven't had the smoothest of rides on MAFS. On Tuesday's show, Georges raised the issue of intimacy, admitting that he feels "not good enough" for Peggy. "There is no intimacy and we are not progressing with that," he pointed out.

Peggy then responded: "It's not all on me. We've had so many obstacles and we've got through them all stronger than ever, but intimacy has not progressed, there are a few things that put me off Georges." She added: "You can't put a date on when you have sex with someone."

Meanwhile, in the Take Me Out clip, some fans were surprised to hear the reality show regular later being branded "dippy" by her date Andrew after she admitted she didn't know what a dolphin looked like. When MAFS first hit screens, Peggy revealed she was a technology risk partner - something she admitted was not expected of her due to her glamorous appearance, as she admitted she is something of a geek.

However, after watching the Take Me Out clip, one viewer said: "Naww the cheek of her tapping Georges' head about having a brain and she's out here shocked that dolphins have "fins like a shark" and they "go up and down"."
