James Argent hints at marriage plans with girlfriend, 19, amid whirlwind romance
James ‘Arg’ Argent may have a history as a bit of a ladies man, but it seems he may well have found ‘the one’ as he has hinted he plans to marry girlfriend Stella Turian.
The 35-year-old former The Only Way Is Essex star has been in a relationship with 19-year-old law student Stella since June 2022. And while the pair have been enjoying getting to know each other on a ‘long distance’ front, Arg has hinted he has long-term plans for their relationship.
The reality star - who had high profile romances with fellow Towie stars Lydia Bright and Gemma Collins in the past - has been rebuilding his career as a performer in recent years, billing himself as a ‘wedding singer’. And he has teased that he could soon be doing vocal warm ups in order to sing at his very own wedding.
While Arg has been left heartbroken by his failed relationships in the past, he says he is ‘really happy’ now that he is dating Stella. And he also thinks he can picture them spending their futures together as Mr and Mrs Argent.

Arg has been dating 19-year-old Stella for over a year (stellaturian/Instagram)He told the MailOnline: "I have been seeing an Italian girl for a while now. Her name is Stella, she lives in Italy, we met and became friends and it just snowballed from there.

"We are doing the long distance at the moment but it is working for us. She is beautiful and I am really happy. I would love to get married one day. It's a bit early right now but who knows I could be singing at my own wedding one day."
Arg spoke warmly about his relationship with Stella during an appearance on This Morning earlier this year. He shared details of their first meeting - and how he wooed her with romantic movie night dates.
He said on the ITV daytime show back in June: “I've got a new girlfriend. She looks like a young Sophia Loren or Monica Bellucc. She lives in northern Italy. She's very special. She's a great woman.”
Show host Dermot O’Leary joked that Arg was ‘punching’ by dating the younger model, while the reality star himself confessed: “Lord know's how I done it. I think she thought I was an English Michael Bublé when we met. That's what I tried to tell her, anyway.”
Arg came under fire in late 2021 when he was exposed for mocking former flame Gemma Collins’ engagement - with many fans suspecting he was bitter and showing sour grapes. Gem and on-off lover Rami Hawash confirmed their engagement - but Arg took aim at the happy news while out with friends shortly after it was made public.
The star was pictured laughing while holding up a sign with "GC, call off the engagement!!!" written on it while he was out watching the PDC World Darts Championship at London's Alexandra Palace with some fellow reality stars. Rumours had flown that Arg and Gemma had become secretly engaged back in 2018, but their relationship came to an explosive end in 2020 amid reports he had branded her a ‘hippo’ in viciously cruel texts.
