When news emerged that Ben Foden had cheated on his wife Una Healy after just six years of marriage, it was perhaps understandable that The Saturdays singer was left devastated.

The couple announced their separation in 2018 and the following year, the rugby union player, 38, confirmed that he had committed adultery, which tore his family apart. But to make matters worse, on the day that his divorce was finalised, Ben walked down the aisle for the second time, with US socialite Jackie Belanoff - just two weeks after they first started dating, which left a bitter taste in the mouth of Una's fans.

But it looks as though both Una and Ben have managed to put their turbulent past behind them for the sake of their two children and now happily co-parent, according to the sportsman in a recent interview. Ben, who is now expecting his second child with Jackie, opened up to OK! to reveal that he actually has a good relationship with Una now and she has been "very accommodating."

He said: "Una has been very accommodating because she wants Aoife and Tadhg to have a relationship with Farrah. She sends me their school schedules as soon as possible so we can get flights booked for them. But I know the distance and the fact their mum and dad aren’t together anymore isn’t ideal. Ben, who now lives in America after signing to Rugby United New York, had been exposed as a cheat after a night out with PR girl Becky Milne and his rugby pals.

At the time, an unsuspecting Una was planning to move stateside with their children - but those plans were quickly shattered and the singer headed to Ireland to stay with her family. In 2019, Ben opened up on his cheating scandal and told The Guardian:"At the moment anything that's published about me is never very good and pretty rightly so, because I was the one who committed adultery." During that year, the rugby star was spotted on the dating app Bumble and in his bio, he stated that he was "getting divorced" and was looking for love in the US.

His full biography read: "Heading Stateside in December. Never believe in making plans, let’s just see what happens and how things go. If you’re uptight and bossy I’m not for you. Getting divorced. 2 little people who are my world." And he also claimed that Una was aware of his dating profile and had even helped him to compile it. But Ben was slammed once again after it was revealed that he had tied the knot with Jackie on the exact same day his divorce was finalised.

Addressing the eyebrow-raising situation, Ben said in a statement: "This last year has been by far my toughest and most turbulent for a number of reasons that many of you I’m sure are aware of, in some way or another. The world has a funny way of working things out, many people think I’m a bad person - as I’m sure they’ll be many nasty comments left under this post by keyboard warriors a plenty."

He added:"But I met a girl who seriously swept me off my feet and in a time of hardship showed me love, a deep devoted love. People will say we are mad or crazy or even fools, as @snackyjax and I had only been dating seriously for a little over 2 weeks before deciding to get married. But when someone like her comes in to your life, why would I wait?"
