Strictly viewers 'rumble' who'll leave next after Eddie and Karen axe

Strictly Come Dancing viewers believe they have worked out who will leave the show next weekend, after the latest vote off result.

Another couple was axed from the competition by the judges on Sunday night, after having to face another pairing in the dreaded dance-off. It was Eddie Kadi who had to go head-to-head with Zara McDermott in the bottom two, both having been there before.

But this time one of them would not be sent through to next week's show, and the judges decided Eddie and his professional dance partner Karen Hauer's time on the show was over. Zara and her pro partner Graziano Di Prima survived another week.

Fans are convinced though that the latest elimination is a sign of what's ahead, and that the next couple to leave the series has already been sealed. After low scores and another stint in the dance-off, viewers were sure it would be Zara and Graziano who judges would be sending him next week, all being one couple, who missed the show this week, returns to the competition.

Taking to social media, fans predicted the next elimination would see Zara voted off in the dance-off after her recent scores and comments from the judges, and this being her second time in the bottom two. One fan posted: "I think zara next week."

Another wrote: "Not a surprise. That’s who l guessed would go. Can also predict next weeks elimination as well," as a third said: "So we know Zara is prob gone next week, after that I can't call it." Others shared their hopes the pair could turn things around like the other week.

It comes after one star was forced to pull out just a day before the live show. Amanda Abbington and her pro dance partner Giovanni Pernice were confirmed to be missing the show on Saturday due to medical reasons, and they did not perform

The news was revealed on Friday's spin-off show, It Takes Two, by host Janette Manrara, she said: "We have some breaking news, unfortunately due to medical reasons, Amanda will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

"Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, Amanda and Giovanni will return the following week. Amanda we hope you get well soon my love, sending you all the best wishes!" Hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman also addressed the news on the main show.

As for Eddie, he said of his departure: "I’ve really enjoyed this, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do – I love dancing. This has been the highest moment of my career – it’s the happiest I’ve ever been, but not just for me – my family - my little baby girl is at home doing the Men in Black dance.

"More importantly, this little African boy, I just wanted my culture to shine. Everything I stand for, when it comes to my comedy, when it comes to my presenting, is based on my culture, is based on my upbringing and I wanted that to shine most importantly."

He continued: "Even more importantly this wonderful Queen [to Karen], there are two parts to this show – we want to entertain, I believe that God has brought this to me, I just want to make people happy and this gem over here has kept me happy – I love you so much God bless you."

Karen was then asked by Tess about how proud she was of Eddie, she said: "You are a treasure, I’m going to miss you [to Eddie] – well I’ll see you tomorrow! We’re going to take up Congolese dancing. I just want to thank you so much for being so positive and bringing such light and smiling, just a beauty to all of us, I want to thank you so much."
