Tom Brady's break-up with Irina Shayk explained as NFL icon suffers second blow
The budding romance between NFL legend Tom Brady and Irina Shayk simply 'fizzled out', with the pair still seemingly on amicable terms despite their split.
The retired New England Patriots icon and the Russian supermodel had been dating for nearly four months but their fleeting relationship is over. The duo had been spotted apart in the past week, with Brady seen sunning himself in Miami, while Shayk enjoyed herself in New York City.
Now, it has been revealed that there was nothing dramatic behind the household names deciding to call time on their brief romance, according to TMZ. The short-lived couple were first seen together in July, when the seven-time Super Bowl victor picked his rumoured beau up from the Hotel Bel-Air Hotel, before driving her to his Los Angeles home.
The American sporting icon Brady broke up with former wife Gisele Bundchen in October 2022, with Shayk his first relationship since their split. The ex-Tampa Bay Buccaneers star would next be spotted with his new love interest on date nights in both New York and London.

However, pictures of Shayk alongside her ex-partner Bradley Cooper on holiday in Italy would emerge in August, leading to speculation over her future with Brady. At the time, however, the NFL legend would deny that he was bothered by the pictures of the pair.
Following this, Brady and Shayk would last been seen together in mid-September, when the model stayed over at the Patriots hero's Tribeca apartment during New York Fashion Week. However, this would ultimately be the last time the pair would spend time together, as per Page Six.
Speaking on his 'Let's Go!' podcast previously, Brady explained how the 'drama' in his personal life has taught him a lot of lessons in recent times. He said: "We should all have self-awareness, it's a hard trait to have. We're in a culture where it's hard to own up to things these days.

Brady has thrown himself into his business interests quite significantly after finally hanging up his cleats at the Bucs in February of this year. Among the 46-year-old's investments in the time since his retirement has been taking up a minority stake in Birmingham City FC.
Alongside his partners at the EFL Championship club, they were able to secure the services of former England captain Wayne Rooney as head coach this month. However, to compound his misery following the breakdown of his romance with Shayk, the Blues fell to defeat in his first game versus Middlesbrough.
