Britney Spears' heartbreak at hands of men from Justin abortion to losing sons
Britney Spears has survived a lot of tragedy in her life and she's now set to open up about all of it in her upcoming memoir, The Woman In Me.
The 41-year-old singer will reflect on some of the life-changing moments she's experienced so far, including finding freedom after her controversial conservatorship. She will also reflect on her tumultuous love life, which has gained widespread attention over the years.
Most recently, the Princess of Pop made headlines when it was announced she was getting a divorce from her husband Sam Asghari after just 14 months of marriage. From the abrupt end of her romance with singer Justin Timberlake to a former boyfriend's cruel pregnancy stunt, here's everything we know about Britney's heartbreaking relationships.
Justin Timberlake 'slept with six of seven girls' weeks after split

Britney has now admitted she cheated on Justin with dancer Wade Robson, but says it happened after she found out the NSYNC singer had been unfaithful with "another celebrity".

Writing in her memoir, Britney said she didn't want to name the woman Justin cheated with to save them from embarrassment. The singer also said she was loyal to Justin throughout their whole relationship apart from that "one exception" and that they were able to discuss it and move on.
Although Britney and Justin's relationship seemed perfect from the outside, things weren't great for the pair. Britney has revealed that she fell pregnant with Justin's child, but decided to have an abortion as he thought they were "too young" to have a baby.
In extracts of her memoir, seen by People, Britney wrote that her then-boyfriend "wasn't happy" when she told him she was pregnant. She claims he said they weren't ready to be parents, which led to her ending the pregnancy.
After their split in 2002, Britney alleges that Justin moved on rather quickly. She claims he "slept with six of seven girls" just weeks after they "officially" broke up. According to new excerpts seen by Time, Spears says she was still torn up after the split and embarked on a rebound with Colin Farrell.
Colin Farrell said they were just 'friends' after fling
Colin Farrell and Britney Spears had a brief flingBritney Spears likened her brief fling with Colin Farrell to a "street fight" in her memoir and said they were very "passionate". However, it seems Colin wasn't looking for anything serious and insisted they were simply friends.
The pair enjoyed a two-week fling in 2003 after meeting through a "club promoter friend". Britney said they grew close after she visited him on the set of his 2003 film S.W.A.T.
"Brawl is the only word for it - we were all over each other, grappling so passionately it was like we were in a street fight," Britney wrote in her memoir. However, after she attended the premiere of Colin's 2003 film The Recruit, he told reporters they were "just mates".
In her memoir, Britney admitted she wasn't over her three-year romance with Justin Timberlake by the time she had a fling with Colin. "As I had before when I'd felt too attached to a man, I tried to convince myself in every way that it was not a big deal, that we were just having fun," she said. The singer also described feeling "vulnerable" following her split from Justin.

Weeks before their one-year anniversary, Britney gave birth to their first son, Sean Preston. In 2006, they welcomed their second son, Jayden James.
Things sadly weren't meant to be for Kevin and Britney and she filed for divorce from him in November 2006, citing "irreconcilable differences". In their original settlement, Britney and Kevin were granted joint legal and physical custody over their two children.

While they initially appeared to be on good times after the split, things quickly took a turn for the worse in their co-parenting relationship. In 2018, Kevin requested an increase of $20,000 (£16,400) a month in child support payments.
After months of discussions and a new proposal put forward by Britney, Kevin hit back and doubled his request to $40,000 (£32,900) a month. A settlement was finally reached and Britney agreed to to increase her child support payments from $20,000 to $35,000 (£28,000) a month.
After the court battles, Britney's relationship with her sons began to crack. She's been estranged from her sons for a year, with reports claiming that "communication between them began to dwindle by the end of the summer 2022". Her sons also missed her wedding to new husband Sam Asghari in June last year.
Kevin has since taken Jayden and Sean with him as he permanently moved to Hawaii earlier this year. They moved with his long-time wife Victoria Prince and their two daughters Jordan Kay Federline and Peyton Marie Federline.
Jason Alexander's cruel wedding stunt

Not much was heard from Jason until he famously made the headlines in 2022 when he tried to crash Britney's wedding to Sam Asghari. In a video, he could be heard shouting about his plans. "She's my first wife, my only wife. I’m her first husband, I’m here to crash the wedding," he told security.
Afterwards, he was arrested for trespassing, vandalism, and battery. A security guard also revealed in court that he had tried to enter Britney's bedroom when he crashed the wedding.
Adnan Ghalib pregnancy test stunt

Adnan is said to have made sure he was seen purchasing a pregnancy test for publicity in 2008, with the couple splitting shortly after. In 2009, Jamie Spears filed a restraining order against Adnan which ordered him to stay away from the singer and her family until 2012.
In the Netflix documentary Britney vs Spears, Adnan claimed he was serious about the romance and blamed it ending on Britney's fans. "It was a very simple, very easy relationship, you know? But between her fans and everybody else, it was like I was the bad guy," he said.
David Lucado cheating allegations

The Gimme More hitmaker announced their split in August 2014 as she tweeted: "Ahhhh the single life!" After their breakup was announced, TMZ claimed David had cheated on Britney and alleged that her father had purchased a video of the infidelity incident.
David denied the allegations. Instead, he said he was seeing the other woman while he and Britney had agreed to call time on their relationship.
Sudden Sam Asghari split

They went Instagram official the following year and seemed to go from strength to strength.
In April 2022, Britney was overjoyed as she announced she was pregnant with their first child together. Tragically, she announced she had a miscarriage the following month. Writing on Instagram, Britney said: "We have lost our miracle baby."
Sam and Britney said 'I do' at a lavish wedding ceremony hosted at their home in California. The event was attended by a host of A-list celebrities including Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton and Selena Gomez.
Sadly, things didn't last for the couple and Sam announced their split on social media in August as he filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences". He wrote: "After six years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together. We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. S*** happens. Asking for privacy seems ridiculous so I will just ask for everyone including the media to be kind and thoughtful."
