Liam Gallagher tour tickets 'impossible' to get hold of, claim fuming fans

Countless Liam Gallagher fans have been left disappointed and cursing ticket touts after queuing for around half an hour online - only to find that there were no tickets left for them in any of the major venues he is scheduled to perform at.

Liam Gallagher recently announced the hotly-anticipated Definitely Maybe tour, where he's promised to sing the Oasis' Definitely Maybe album in full - celebrating 30 years since its release. He's set to play its iconic '90s tracks that catapulted him and his brother Noel to stardom, including Live Forever, Slide Away, Rock 'n' Roll Star, and Cigarettes and Alcohol.

Fans reported that they were in online queues of up to 30,000 people, desperately trying for all tour dates as soon as they went on sale at 9am on Friday, October 20. By 9.15am, ticketing sites were posting warnings that there was only "limited availability" left at venues - and many were left gutted as a result.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, furious fans were criticising the ticket companies, and people who bought extra tickets, as many are already claiming they'd accidentally purchased extra tickets, asking people to DM them for more details. Someone even tweeted a photo showing a seated ticket that was on a resale site for £640, asking "how is this still happening?"

One furious fan wrote: "Petition to go back to buying gig tickets from music shops please, in a queue of about 6 million people for Liam Gallagher tickets. Let's see how many of them would stand outside [...] queuing for hours, survival of the fittest."

Another raged: "If you got Liam Gallagher tickets just to sell them on, f**k you x", with someone else mirroring the sentiment: "Unlike thousands of others on here, I didn't 'accidentally order extra tickets'. If you buy tickets for any event solely to sell on you're a c*** today, tomorrow, and always will be."

A disappointed Liam fan fumed: "Trying to get tickets for Liam Gallagher has been an absolute joke. Everything sold out in seconds and suddenly there are tickets all over Viagogo being sold for quadruple the price. Can't stand the way modern-day tickets are sold", and another agreed: "Liam Gallagher tickets gone in seconds, on 6 different accounts in a queue. Then you go on backhanded websites with them on for quadruple the price. Buying tickets present day is ridiculous."

Others labelled people who buy extra tickets as "vultures", and someone said: "This entire Liam Gallagher ticket experience has been a f**king disgrace. But it's okay because touts and bots have absolutely lapped the lot up. Waste of f**king time."

The Mirror has approached Ticket Master for a comment.
