One of the fun festive traditions we Brits enjoy is digging out the classic Christmas jumper and proudly wearing it on the run-up to Christmas. However, shoppers have been left divided over Primark's latest Christmas jumper, with some saying they would "never be seen dead in it" but others think it's brilliant and can't wait to get their hands on it.

An eagle-eyed Primark shopper spotted the jumper in question on the rails of her local store and shared it with other bargain lovers on Facebook to the Extreme Couponing And Bargains UK page to see what they thought of it.

Whether you're a proud Primark shopper or not, this jumper is sure to say loud and proud where you purchased it from. With the iconic brand logo plastered front and centre on the jumper clearly, surrounded by the well-known brown paper bags, it's any Primark lover's dream. With the addition of snowflakes, and brown zig-zags it gives a festive touch to the jumper. Although it would take a true Primark fan to want to wear the garment out and about.

Alongside the photo of the jumper, the shopper wrote: "For all you Primarni lovers you know you want one, £16 is a bargain." The post was a hit in the group and people were quick to share their opinions on the unique jumper. It's caused quite a mixed opinion, however. Many loved the garment, as one Facebook user even went as far as planning a whole outfit around it and said: "100% essential and will match gorgeously with Uggs!" while a second said: "It's on lol I will be finding this."

A third echoed: "I'm getting this," and someone else chimed: "I would love this." However, others were less than impressed. One Facebook user claimed: "Although I love Primark, this is a firm NO," and another was clearly not a fan and brutally wrote: "Wouldn't be seen dead in this."

However, others were more concerned about the price people were willing to pay to advertise the retail giant for free. "Who on earth would want a jumper with Primark written on it? You pay them £16 for the privilege of advertising for them!" One pointed out, while another quipped: "Not a chance! If they want me to advertise their name on a jumper, they need to pay me to do it and give me the jumper for free!"
