Big Brother fans slam Kerry's reaction to nominations that left Henry in tears

Big Brother fans have reacted with confusion and fury over the fact Kerry Riches acted shocked over the latest round of eviction nominations - that left one housemate in floods of tears.

Week two in the Big Brother house saw the housemates summoned to the diary room to make nominations and determine which housemates will face the public vote. Unfortunately for Zak Srakaew and Henry Southan, they received the most votes and one of them will now be voted out by the viewing public.

When Big Brother announced the results of nominations, there were shocked expressions all around - despite those having voted for 28-year-old Zak and 25-year-old Henry knowing they had voted for the boys themselves. Among those looking gobsmacked was 40-year-old Kerry who announced she did not see the result coming.

However, Kerry had targeted Zak with her own vote, explaining in the diary room: “My first nomination is for Zak. He is coming across a little bit as two faced. He likes to s**t-stir. He goes to other groups, winding people up, and I would go as far as to say I don’t trust Zak.”

Viewers were consequently stunned to see Kerry acting surprised when Zak was nominated. One hit out at her via X, writing: “what exactly is kerry shocked about you lit voted for him.” Another wrote: “Kerry’s actually so f**king annoying and dramatic?? Why is she shocked when she literally voted for them???? #bbuk.”

Another enraged viewer wrote: “Oh p*** off kerry! ‘Oh that’s shocking’ ‘oh I didn’t see that coming’ you f**king voted for them! Ugh she proper winds me up.” Another tweeted: “Can Kerry shut up! You literally voted for Zak you d***head.”

And another fan wrote: “kerry when the person SHE voted for is up for eviction” = alongside a meme of someone covering their face with their hands and the caption 'pretends to be shocked’.

News of his nomination proved to be too much for Henry - who broke down in tears while talking to Big Brother in the diary room. He hinted he felt he had been betrayed by his fellow housemates - and also hinted he had grown especially close to fellow housemate Jordan Sangha and he was worried about being ripped apart from him.

Henry said: “I’m so upset about the whole situation, really. Everyone was like [hand on mouth] looking shocked and going ‘I never saw that coming’. Well, yes you clearly did. So many of you have nominated me and clearly don’t like me. It’s the weirdest feeling, I’ve never felt anything like this. It’s a mixture of frustration and sadness and, well… my body doesn’t really know how to react to it, to be honest.

“I think I’m feeling upset because this journey might be coming to an end when I’ve been having such a lovely time and been enjoying getting to know so many different people from so many different backgrounds. Especially through my closer group of Jordan, Trish and Yinran.”

Breaking down into tears, he continued: “I’m sorry. And Jordan, I mean… Jordan’s great. I definitely made a connection there and I know that after this that we will be life long friends. I just want to be able to make the most out of it while I’m still in this crazy, fun house. It’s also in my head that that’s me gone on Friday. Zak is this lad’s lad who winks at everyone and seems to have popularity in the house and I’m more keep myself to myself. I’ve always been myself and I’ve not been anything else. That’s been my ethos in here to be fundamentally myself.”
