Vladimir Putin's 'shaky' body language during crunch China talks 'prove his health issues are real', experts say..

His meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping was on the surface all good but a body language expert says both leaders gave away more discreet information during their exchanges. Putin arrived in China on Tuesday in an apparent meeting with his "dear friend."

He attended a forum dinner which was about Xi's initiative to trade in Eurasia and make the republic a "global power".

When Putin arrived to meet Xi he was smiling as his car pulled up. But his face change as he adjusted his sleeves ahead of a steep flight of red velvet stairs towards the Chinese leader. Judi James, a body language expert, said some of Putin's moves were "a little jerky".

She said they included his hands twitching and tiny mouth movements as he posed for pictures. Judy told The Sun: "These could be prompted by anxiety or health issues but they don't look pronounced."

Speculation has been rife Putin is suffering from serious health problems including cancer. A mystery red blotch has appeared on his forehead. It has also been suggested the Putin, who turned 71 on October 7, may have celebrate his last birthday. Several suggestions claim his reign will come to end from a coup, suicide, regime collapse, or simply his increasingly failing health.

Judy also claims Putin looked uneasy and anxious with him using gestures with Xi that gave a "non-committal" message about their relationship.

When Putin first comes closer to Xi, their handshake gave clues to who wanted to have the more important status. Judi suggested the Chinese leader's "confidently cocked thumb" coupled with an open palm suggested he was "open" to the meeting but Putin's "jerky lift" showed he was eager to define their friendship.

The pair spoke, but it looked like Putin was speaking and was interrupted by Xi who mimed a tap on the Russian leader's chest to interrupt him. The Mirror reported last month that Putin's body language seemed "subdued" and as though he was trying to convince himself about his illegal invasion of Ukraine.
