We all want to have that glowy, 'glass' skin that is soft and so beautifully sported by the likes of Hailey Bieber and Sofia Ritchie - and so you can imagine our delight when we discovered that a £7.13 cream from Amazon is used by the model and socialite herself. And it's not just Hailey who is a fan.

The Avene Cicalfate+ Repairing Protective Cream for Sensitive Irritated Skin has had over 3,000 reviews on the shopping site with a large number of them haling the cream as a "life saver" having "fixed [their] skin barrier". The cream isn't solely for the face, but can be used on dryness, cuts and scrapes, burns and even on babies due to its ability to reduce skin discomfort - plus, it claims to have a lovely almond smell, which is always a bonus.

The multi-tasking Cicalfate+ cream, which from Boots is £9.50 as opposed to Amazon's £7.13, is effective in repairing and treating "broken skin, eczema, nappy rash, stitches, bed sores, skin ulcers & skin after laser treatment". Being rich in Avene thermal spring water, it has anti-inflammatory benefits and soothes.

It's a product that Hailey Bieber has declared as her "forever and always" and has turned thousands of skincare lovers onto the stuff, with many stating it as a "holy grail" of products.

One TikTokker that used it having been influenced by the A-lister said: "[It] literally added IMMEDIATE hydration to my face. My skin has never felt so moisturised. This product is 100% worth the hype."

Another added: "I've been using the Avene Cicalfate+ for about three months now. Firstly... This is a no brainer if you are on a budget. Secondly it is the only moisturiser that will help my skin when it is misbehaving. If you have damaged your skin barrier from over exfoliating, if you're more prone to sensitive skin, if you've got some breakouts... this is literally your best friend."

And on Amazon, fans of the product are showering it with just as much praise, with a customer who left the Avene mosituriser five stars saying: "Saved my face skin. I use it daily under my make up and it is so far the best one.my skin doesnt peel amymore and it feels smooth and less problems. I like it !!"

Another stated: "This cream really is a miracle worker for dry, itchy, red winter skin, so it's worth the extra effort."

A third added: "This product is like a face lift in a tube. My skin looks and feels so good. I will use this product forever."

Others who bought the Avene Cicalfate+ Repairing Protective Cream in the hope that it'd help clear up their skin issues didn't take to it as well and stated that it was "extremely oily" and clogged pores - citing how Sudocrem was "so much better".

"I tried this to help with some mild eczema that has developed on my arm and even tried using it as a barrier cream on my face to tackle the effects of cold British weather. However it’s greasy, not easily absorbed (suppose that’s to be expected), it made my skin break out a little and it hasn’t helped with the eczema at all. Not for me," said another.

If you didn't get on with this product and want it for a glowy, glass-like texture for your face, COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence has been known to work wonders when it comes to break outs and fine lines. Another favourite of Hailey's that is beloved around the world also, is the Weleda Skin Food, which acts as an intensely moisturising body cream to nourish and soothe the skin. Beauty Pie's Happy Face Extreme Relief Cica Moisture Cream is also a great alternative and is £16.50 - described as a "a cashmere blanket for your face", the Ceramide-gel Cica cream helps to relieve ighly sensitive and dry skin and helps those who live with rosacea. For something that helps dry skin all over your body, the Aroma Active Laboratories Soothing Universal Repair Cream from Boots is only £5.
