Director Matthew Vaughn claims that Halle Berry was tricked into acting in one of the X-Men films. Matthew has directed hit films like Kick-Ass and Kingsman: The Secret Service and its two sequels. He directed X-Men: First Class and was a writer and producer for X-Men: Days of Future Past. But he pulled out of X-Men: The Last Stand for what he claimed was a shady casting deal.

He claimed he was hired to direct the 2006 X-Men movie and actors like Hugh Jackman, who played Wolverine. He got suspicious when he supposedly saw a new copy of the script that looked longer.

Its is alleged a studio executive told him to ignore it, reportedly, but Matthew looked through it saw that a new scene was added where Storm, Halle Berry's character, would help starving kids in Africa using her powers.

Reportedly when he asked about the new scene, he claimed the conversation he had with him caused him to quit the movie. "'[I went,] ‘What is this?' [They said,] 'Oh, it’s Halle Berry’s script. I went, 'OK, because she hasn’t signed up yet.' 'But this is what she wants it to be, and once she signs up, we’ll throw it in the bin," Matthew said.

The Kick-Ass director claimed that they would pretend to include the scene to get Halle to join the film and then cut it once she signed. "I was like, 'Wow, you’re gonna do that to an Oscar-winning actress who plays Storm? I’m outta here.' So I quit at that point," she added.

No word yet from Halle if the story is true. She was recently spotted though last month in New York City going for a walk near Battery Park. She wore a black long-sleeve shirt, reflective sunglasses, loose grey trousers, and black kitten heels. Her hair was parted in the middle and resting on her shoulders.

Halle was also part of a recent controversy when Drake used a photo of her getting 'slimed' with green goo at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for the cover art of his single Slime You Out featuring SZA. Halle was furious and posted on social media with a message: "Sometimes you have to be the bigger guy... even if you're a woman!"

She responded to a follower: "Didn't get my permission. That's not cool I thought better of him!" and then added to another fan: "Hence my post today. When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!"
